in 2006 there was a botcon remold of cd red alert as pre-bw megatron and in 2007 there was a cd hotshot recolour as springer and it got me thinking, who should be a cd scattorshot redo for botcon or other releases. i was thinking maybe rumble-frenzy or maybe ironhide because of all the weaponry. what do you think.

For a G1 character, I pick Megatron. You know well armed. And arm mounted guns. And a Good looking Gun mode.

But I guess he could also work as either Warpath or Doubledealer.

Ahh, Young people, unschooled in the all but the movie line.

The Cybertron Line gave an upgrade to 3 figures in the line:

Red Alert, Scattershot and Hot Shot. Giving them heavier, more armed and armored modes. They were tagged with the Cybertron Defense title.

Red Alert went from a car to a rocket Launching rolling platform.
Scattershot, went from a small attack vehicle, to a large armored tank, and Hot Shot went from a sleek sports car to an Armored Personnel Carrier.

These three were known as the Cybertron Defense team, or CD for short.

I told the fire to go **** itself, and it did.

Rijie Seeking:

Botcon 2009--Souvenir Sweeps
Botcon 2010--Souvenirs Rapido, Scorch/Shattered Glass Ravage

MISP preferred, but will consider opened NM/Complete, especially for older figures. Lots of TFs for trade! Please PM any inquiries, serious interest only!

For a 25 year-old, I don't know if I still fit into the "young people" category. Or maybe you haven't noticed my childhood love for G1. :-?

Maybe not Young as in age, but young in collecting. As you were unfamiliar with the Cybertron line and its gimmicks. Coupled with the amount of posts, it was a safe conclusion you weren't collecting during the Cybertron Line.

In any case, I meant no offense.

I always thought the name "Catapult" would be good.

Since he's gained some popularity in the comics, how about Hardhead? I think that look would make a good transition.
