hopefully the cartoon wont have clones differetiated by colour only, if cliffjumper did appear hopefully he will have a different head in the show that should translate to a different head on the bot, i get the feeling that such short cuts just arent going to happen here (hasbro could justify the repaints in classics 1 and the movie>allspark lines as there was never an onscreen version to match), am i right that rumors suggest that ulta magnus is a totally different mould to optimus (for eg).

as cheap as it seems to adults that hasbro repaints cybertron for universe line and repaints movie toys for allspark (plus some new atleast) the kids wont see this, they jsut see TF's and are happy to have them, i do hope that hasbro gives the animation some 'respect' as such and really works on creating new unique characters with their own toys. i even feel its a bit cheap to make repaints of the same character, a battle damaged cybertron prime in the animationline wouldnt push my buttons.

Hell yes I'm buying them! They are small like the Beast Wars toys, Voyager is about the biggest we've seen so far. they remind me of the Beast Wars toys for some reason.

I'm defiantly getting the dinobots, Megs, Optimus Prime, Sound wave if they have him, Maybe starscream, I'll get them all except Bulkhead. It looks like he has a beer belly and has trouble standing up.

I'm going to buy any that fit in with my Classics collection (Blitzwing, Blackarachnia) and at least Bumbles. That said, I'm such a sucker for TFs when I see them in the wild, I'll probably end up with a few others. We shall see.

At the very least, I'll buy Bumblebee (for my BB collection) and Soundwave (because the electric guitar is just crazy enough to work). For others, I'll wait to see them in the flesh.

Optimus Prime(Deluxe) - I don't think so. Both, Alt. and Robot modes, are weak, IMO. I just don't like it.

Optimus Prime(Voyager) - I may get. It looks better, than the Deluxe.

Bumblebee - Maybe. One of the better Autobots IMO. I may get him.

Bulkhead - I may get, him.

Prowl - I dunno. I may have to see more pics. He looks cool.

Ratchet - I may get.

Dinobots

Grimlock - Awesome. I will, get this one.

Slag - Cool. I will, get this one.

Decepticons

Megatron - Awesome. I will, get this one.

Starscream - No.

Blitzwing - The concept art looks cool. I will, get this one.

Lugnut - Getting.

Blackarachnia - Getting.

Lockdown - Getting. Though, I think his Alt. mode looks better than his Robot mode.

Soundwave - Getting.

That is at least, the first Wave.

Interesting, is I want, mostly the Dinobots and the Decepticons. Really, so far I want all of the Dinobots and Starscream is the only Decepticon, I really don't care for, form this line. I think they, have the better figuers, IMO.

Really, on the Autobots side, I really, can't think of a must-have, IMO. Well, maybe, Bumblebee, and prehaps Prowl. I hope, with other Waves the Autobots, gets some better figures.

Well from looking at the figures, i will admit that there are a few that i will possibly pick up, but nothing that im going to be running after and what not.

So far these are the figures i shall consider on picking up.

Autobots:
Bulkhead: Im a sap for the bulky characters and so far he looks pretty cool.

Earth Prime: It looks like he has a pretty cool Robot mode and decent Alt mode and looks better then the cybertronian version.

Dinobots ( Grimlock, Slag): I must say that i am not 100% sure on these guys. They look cool so far but im going to wait on further updates ( colors and any changes they may make.


Decepticons:
Megatron: A really nice looking Robot mode that is G1'ish and i like the colors but his alt mode looks weird but i could grow to like it.

Starscream: Alot of people are not liking Starscream's look for the toy but i gotta say im digging it and the color scheme is nice.

Blitzwing: As for Blitzwing, well i like the sketches for him but until i see more he is a 50/50 for me, though i wish it was Astrotrain that was the triple changer. Maybe he will be released later on *shrug*

Blackarachnia: Bit of an odd choice for a Transformer character, but i must say i like her look so far and not to mention im a pretty big fan of her ( even though she isn't tied to the BW/BM character)

I think it will come as no surprise that I will be getting as many of these as I can get my paws on.

I expect that these will sell very well (even if only at first) due to the drought of Transformers figures we have had lately.

Bumblebee is quite interesting. I like the way it transforms. Good robot form. Good car form.

i really like the bellbottomed look to the legs, although its quite generic theres days it does hard back to the look of the diaclone suff (eg prowl has big bottomed legs like walking in boxes)and even the microman toys of the 70's (which both directly led to TF)where the action figures had genuine bellbottomed trouser designs!
