People seem to really hate transformers energon toys

Feel free to discuss anything about any of the thousands of Transformer toys here. Anything from Generation 1 all the way to the soon to be released, the never to be released or the hope to be released is fair game! Want to show off your stuff? Please post your's and see others in the Transformers Collections Forum.

In case I wasn't clear before and I probably wasn't (I dunno.) Energon was rad. It also paved the way for Cybertron which made me spend ridiculous amounts of money.

I'm going from memory here since my Energon figures are in storage, but if you fiddle with the plastic around the pin where the panel connects to you can might be able to make it stay better. I had that problem with mine. It might be easier if we had pics of what you are talking about too.

I'm guessing the head assembly isn't supposed to come off like that.

1. Put the head piece back on
2. rotate the plastic part the red arrows are pointing to so it secures the head panel. This piece does move and I don't know if it was designed this way intentionally to prevent breakage or what the reason
is.

That is what I did to "fix" my Energon Barricade.

I like some homages like
Wheeljack
Galvatron
Scorponok
Towline was okay
Omega Supreme was pretty awesome
though some homages suck
fatty prime
and my biggest gripe about Energon was that these alt modes were too futuristc(i've never seen a truck with arms or a car with a big head sticking out) and that it took place in the future. the future is just unrealistic to me. When its present place it feels realistic.
Also the robots heads were always showing! ITS NOT ROBOTS IN DISGUISE IF A BIG ROBOT HEAD IS SHOWING. and a few cannon and crap wont hide your face Ironhide
But Wheeljack, Galvatron etc. make it a pretty good line.

I don't like Cybertron from a few toys I've seen. too futuristic. the point of transformers is that robots turn into real stuff. if it was robots tuening into s big hunk of crap it aint a transformer.
Energon is awesome. so many awesome homages.
Armada is awesome despite legs not bending. we got Unicron.

Thanx, thats what I normally do. I just wasn't sure if the head piece was supposed to come off like that. but i guess it is.

I was really shocked when I transformed him the first time, and it just popped off. but seeing how it stays on pretty good it looks like it was designed that way, so it wouldn't break.

Thanks again though.

If you all ask me, Energon means as much for me as Generation 1. Why? Because Transformers Energon was the line there brought me into this geeky-world !

And i luvz Energon figures, even "Fattimus Prime" as someone calls him ...

Pretty much the same for me, except that it was armada toys that got me. Might be partly why i like armada toys a lot, but most others seem to hate those. It could also be that i have always liked small toys, and that armada introduced the Mini-cons into the realm of transformers.

I liked Energon I have the entire line with the exception of the Costco exclusive.I would have that one too if I could find one at a reasonable price. As a whole I really liked the line a few figures and a few complaints here and there, but nothing to go postal over.

It was the best line from the Unicron trilogy imo. No stupid Minicons or Cyberkeys in the way, just combining fun and clean hypermodes. I love my Wing Omega Prime.

Weapon: Reciprocating Laser Cannon
Wasn't too bad line. The new gestalts were something we waited for a lot of time(sadly the only one I have is Superion Maximus).

I only had the luck to get a few figures on the end of the line:
Shockblast
Superion Max
Tidal Wave
Battle Ravage
GENERATION 1: THE EPIC ORIGINS! -Hasbro

"Autobots, Buster Witwicky killed Primus. Kill on sight!" - broadcast from Urban Dead

Armada rulez dude

I'd just starting on watching the episodes.

The only figure from the line i have so far is Red Alert.

But ... yea, alot of peps seems to really hate them. I have even heard one calling them "The closest Tf's to Go-Bots level" ... something like that ...

Heck ... i even like Armada Sideswipe

Scoponok and Mirage are great figures! However, the sound function in Scorponok's tail is really annoying ... every time you move the tail up, the same annoying sound plays ...

Looks pretty big.. How much do you think they are worth? The scorponok I'm looking at is around $50 and the shockfleet is around $35

Motto: "Know your enemy, then crush them."
Weapon: Gatling Cannon
I was out of TFs when Energon was going on. Man did I miss OUT!!

I've just been going back and getting a lot of Energon figs, and a few I know I saw on shelves cost me a few pretty pennies. Energon Galvatron, I'm looking at YOU! But you're so awesome, I just can't stay mad :-)

I just got both the black and white starscreams, Galvie, Rodimus and Shockblast all MIP.

Shockblast, after some necessary arm surgery, may be one of my favorite figs of all time ever. He went on the kitbash table the day I got him (preempting like 8 other projects, homework and sleep) and is being repainted now.

Shockwave was one of my favorite characters and figures.
I love this figure more!

I' would be THRILLED if they re-released him in classics with his big @$$ arm modified.
For Sale:
Classics Magnus/Skywarp 2 pack MIB
Classics Devastator MIP
HA Sideswipe K-Mart exclusive color Loose

Currently looking for:
ROTF Target exclusive Sideswipe from the 2-pack
TFCC Punch/Counterpunch
Alternity Primes, silver & white versions
(opened is OK, to be used for customs)

PM If interested
