Transforming
For twenty five years I've owned Warpath and just now while transforming him I realized that you can pull his arms out slightly to complete the transformation.
Have any of you had that happen? Maybe a Transformer that you've changed a hundred times or more and then one day you find something you didn't know about?

Alternator Prime's legs. I didn't know that they extended an extra 1/4" until months after I had the figure.

Yeah, his nipples become wheels he can land on. Kinda kinky, that.
It took me a while to figure out just how to move Cybertron Soundwave's limbs so that he fits together more tightly.
And I never realized until I read it, that Movie Leader Megs could make a fusion cannon by locking his pods together and sliding the left one in a central position.

None of you should feel stupid, I had to ask how to transform Grimlock (G1) when I started to collect again this last few months.

Anyhoo, I realy never have trouble, I don't even use instructions.
Instructions are for losers.

I have a pretty bad one, though I can at least justify it(somewhat):
I always felt cheated out of never having many of the 1st season characters, especially Prowl, so back in '90 or '91 I bought one off of a friend even though he he was in bad shape; his roof was broken off, his leg panels were clinging to Prowl's body by tape, and his arms were really loose. Still, I loved finally having him.
However, it wasn't until I bought the Commemorative Smokescreen this year that I realized that you can spread apart the back of the car to form legs. And, come to think of it, I don't think I even realized you stand him up, either...
Oy. I know, pretty bad, but hey, I was young, I didn't have the instructions to Prowl back then, it was a whole different time in America those days!

I'll keep that in mind if I ever pick up the encore. Actually imagine owning Punch and then spending the next few years searching stores around the country for Counterpunch.
Then it hits you...

The same thing happened with me and Classics Starscream.( but I noticed it myself while experimenting with the toy because of the package callout "flip out landing gear." duh.)
