Yeah pretty much Ebay is it. And outside of Asia they tend to be relatively rare. Since they were never made by hasbro most of them were produced in much smaller numbers then the other G1 lines. Even the Masterforce guys for the most part got US versions, Victory nothing was actually made stateside other then a modified Dinoking as Monstructor.

I thought it was the other way around: US first, then Japan. That means Monstructor came first, just look at the shells and compare them with the monster modes.

Thinking of the Knock-off of Robot Masters Victory Leo and Star Saber that can be found at Dollar General stores...
Only Victory Leo, Counterpunch? No Star Saber?

Star Saber and Victory Leo are on eBay all the time but they are really expensive. I'd have gotten them but I can't afford them.
Plus I'm trying to save up for the remaining two Battlestars...

Nah, TF died here in the US while kick'n it strong in Japan. The only Victory toy here in the US is Monstructor which comes from Dinoking, which came first in Japan.
To answer the question at hand, you cannot find any Victory toys here in the US unless it's on an auction site, expensive toy dealer, or just plain d@mn lucky.

See their monster modes. They're not exact Japanese monsters, just very rough approximations at best.

According to TFU your right and none of the info I ever got from there has been wrong.
http://www.tfu.info/1989/Decepticon/Mon ... ructor.htm
http://www.tfu.info/1989/Destron/Dinoking/dinoking.htm
But they both came out in 1987 so it really depends on if we can find out which month they were released.
