Ok, first of all, I'd like to say eat it Tramp. Secondly I'd like to again say, I hate this figure. I bought the mold for Thundercracker, and that is THE only time I will ever buy this mold. I would be SO much happier with an oversized LOC Starscream done with titanium parts. I'm just waiting for a bootlegger to do it so I can add it to my titanium shelf in stead of this POS.
till all are one.

Not even gonna ask what the comment to Tramp is about. As for the figure. Not a fan of the Titaniums in general, but that mold does look pretty cool. Defiantly prefer it in the Thundercracker colors though, for some reason it jsut doesn't look very good in Screamers classic scheme. Don't know why but it just doesn't look right to me.

The mold looks fine for Thundercracker, bu not for Starscream. War within Starscream has a completely different transformation than Thundercracker, as does Skywarp. Each of the Seekers had unique transformations; noHere two were alike.

Here are some shots of the actual seekers from the comic for comparison:

Notics the difference? Titanium WW Starscream looks nothing like the real War Within Starscream. It’s just Thundercracker in Starscream’s colors.

Actually WWI Starscream looks alot like WWI Skywarp, but neither of them look like the Titanium figure. WWI Thundercraker is obviously the source for the mold design. But its like any line they make the figure who he's supposed to be first, then paint it to look like anyone close for more money out of the single mold.

Starscream and Thundercracker seem to share the same core transformation scheme though. Nose separates into legs and feet, arms inside wings, head under a cover that folds back. Skywarp is the one since his feet are the back and bottom of the jet while his head is under the nose which folds back, arms still under wings which flip around.

Of course in all cases Dreamwave's usual mass shifting is evident as the bot modes are much more bulky then the jet modes would allow.

Asphalt wrote:GOD not this argument again, There is an entire thread somewhere to explain the tramp comment. looks ok to me. How is teh posability on the new jet titaniums. better than megs and ops. Well I guess they couldnt be worse than megs.

Not bad. Def. better than megs. little stiff in the sholder area, but it can't really be helped considering their size. Really all I want to change on my thundercracker is the head like TFM did (classics starscream head) and maybe the fists to gundam ones so he can hold a weapon. Over all I like him.

For some reason this SS reminds me of Vic Viper (the ship from Gradius)

I kind of like it but it needs a different color scheme though, based on the comic pics there is too much blue in alt mode, if you repainted it you could make it more like the comic version

Actually, Starscream and Thundercracker don’t share anything of their transformations in the comic. Starscream’s nose cone does not split to form the legs and feet. The lower torso rotates around 180° and then folds up underneath so the feet form additional thrusters. When in robot mode, his nose cone becomes a kama, a sort of half-skirt found on some armors.
