Transformer Knockoff Recalls?
Has anyone seen anything about lead paint recalls for any of the Transformer KO's? I think it would be responsible to have somewhere dedicated to this since many of us, including me, have KO's and children with KO's.

KOs are probably too fly-by-night for there to be rigorous testing to begin with. With a big company like Mattel, you can get a recall. With a KO, whom exactly would you sue? The retailer? Some company no one can find in China? If no one stands to lose money getting sued, there's no recall. Caveat emptor with KOs.

Since when is it possible to get support on fake products?
Even then, I think leaded paint is the least of your worries, the nerve gas that is used to kill bugs in wood that is used in shipping containers is far more dangerous.

Even if the toy was made of broken glass held together by toxic waste and painted with lead paint, they won't be recalled.
