The Official Botcon website has been updated with images of two more figures in the Botcon 2008 convention exclusive set.

They are Starscream (Repaint of Cybertron Starscream) and Razorclaw (Repaint of Classics Minicon Overbite).

Two things:

1) That Starscream looks a hell of a lot like Jetfire.
2) Is it the large Cybertron Screamer or the small one?

It's the smaller one. They wouldn't put a supreme class in the box set(can you imagine the size of the box?

Starscream looks much better than that crap that showed up on Ebay.

It's supposed to - same way Grimlock is supposed to look like Trypticon.

Judging by the rifle it has to be the Voyager class one.

Not a fan of the Starscream repaint, it looks tacky. I guess it at least fits the look of the Botcon set then.

Screamer IMHO is the nicest of the set.
For me it is not worth the price though..

I think that's done on purpose. The Decepticons are the good guys now, right? So it stands to reason that they will have Decepticon-equivalents of the Autobots, like Starscream is the flying guy, so he's Jetfire... Megatron will probably be in Prime's colours, etc.

Razorclaw is cute though, love the Overbite mold. Beast minicons were awesome, and the wolf was my favourite! :grin:

I thought the StarScream redeco was going to be Jetfire?

Either way, when I saw that I mentioned they should ad a hint of grey to the pure white face to break the head up a bit.

Glad it happened cause he looks great!

The yellow guy looks like a snot, so...

For previously released figures done in a different way i like them alot! It should be a pretty cool set! I can't wait to get mine at Botcon!

Wow I really like this theme, bad guys as good guys and good guys as bad guys, makes me think of the possibilities. I love the way the factions signs are still there but in opposite colours.

Its a shame i'll never own or even see these in person. (why doesn't the UK get cool stuff like this :-(

Personally, I like the autobots better, Cybertron Starscream in Skyfire colors just dosen't look that good to me,even though it's a good idea considering thier G1 relationship, and the same thing was done with Trypticon Grimlock, I would have prefered they used a different Screamer mold. As for Razorclaw, I don't really care for him(probably would have benn Wierdwolf if they hadn't made him last botcon). Will there be any more 'cons or is this it?

Evil Autobots Goldbug, Prime, Jazz,
VS
Good Decipitcons Starscream and baby razarclaw?

Seems the good guys are about to have their asses handed to them.

Major let down after last years seekers and bug bite.

For me there new names are Jetfire, Trypticon, Jazz, Motomaster and Decpticharge. (maybe even Black Arrachina)

Oh then there is my littlest pet shop kitty Kat.

Looks pretty cool to me. I like that they added the silver to his face. If they would have made his fists black, I think it would look perfect. Razorclaw, I suppose is supposed to look like the G1 Predacon Leader Razorclaw. OK, I guess. They could have done worse.

Can't wait to see Megatron. I hope there are more extra characters besides Megatron. I heard there's going to be black Rodimus. Maybe he's be the free attendee exclusive.

This one of my favorite Starscream molds.I'm glad they decided to use it again.I like the set I'm glad I'll be getting one at the convention.I'm now wondering what the free attendee figure is now.The black Rodimus Ultraprimal mentioned sounds cool.

I am liking the Jetfire look to Starscream. At first I was a bit iffy on the whole "counter Roll" for the figures, but they are being pulled off nicely. Though a Minicon for the set? Hmmmm..... :-?

So the Decepticons are the good guys, interesting.

And I think Razorclaw is supposed to homage Steeljaw. That would make sense cosidering the coloring and size of the figure, and both were lions too.

Whoo hoo! Most expensive Mini-Con I've bought yet! Just under $300 for Razorclaw, such a bargin!

Oh and all those other cool robots too I guess.

But seriously, I both really like the set and at the same time wonder what the hell I'm going to do with it.

While these toys are something I feel compelled to own (I'm very close to owning all of the AEC & Classics toys. Yea...all of them.), they give me problem all the same. They don't really have a place to belong... I mean, I don't intend to integrate them. Like, Goldbuy won't become 'Classics' Goldbug, but at the same time, I don't want to dedicate a whole shelf to them alone.

I like the toys, they're kind of unique. What will make the set a stand out and make me find a way to integrate them is Megatron. It all revolves around him. If Megatron rocks my socks, then all is good.

So is a Prime colored Classics Megatron next? Or will they go with the tank version of him?

Im not feeling too bad about not having the money to buy these anymore, but still feel like Im missing out.
