Hi all,
My birthday's coming up (May 4, mark your calendars), and I want to get a brand-new G1 Starscream. I'm looking for a Commemorative Edition or an Encore, but I'd like to know what the differences are, if any, and which would be better. I'd like it to be as close to original as possible.
Alternatively, FWIW, I might get a G1 Soundwave, but I already have my heart set on the TRU re-issue w/ the dual tape deck. Spensive tho.
Thoughts appreciated, thanks!

Well I have...
TF Collection #9 Starscream
Hasbro Re-issue Starscream
Encore Starscream
The Hasbro reissue has a smoke gray tinted cockpit window were the Encore one has more of a clear with a slight orange tint window. Also on the Encore, the Decepticon emblem is painted on the wings were as on the Hasbro you apply stickers. On TF Collection 9, he is more like the G1 Cartoon. All of the blue parts are kinda sky blue as oppose to the dark blue on others. Also this one has a deep orange cockpit window and Decepticon logos are painted on this one also. Of course you will pay alot more for the Takara Reissue
Hope this helps

I to have all three and I would have to say if you want G1 accurate go for the import, you won't get the extended missle version that Hasbro has. That alone killed it for me.

The Transformers Collection Starscream comes with a Megatron gun and extra fist to hold him. It also comes with a DVD, but it is pricy.
