I'm wondering what happened to the toys that were pictured in the original booklet.

I assume that there were two of each toy, one in robot form, behind the other in disguise, and I'm wondering what happened to them.
Are they in a museum? Are they in a storage box at Hasbro? Were they thrown in the garbage?!!!
If you know where they are, or even if you have an idea of where they might be, please let me know.
Thanks!

I need to find some G1 spanish dubs where they use these names.
As to the ?, I dunno. From the way people talk about things like prototypes and, I'm assuming test shots, is that they often get tossed out, destroyed or given to(taken by) people who work for the toy company.
They may be around, they may be long gone.

I do alot of add photograpy for various advertising and conventions as well as other stuff.
Well normaly what I find is that in situations like this where product is opened, it's either tossed or taken home by someone working on the project.
My guess is that either some photographer or department managers kid mangeled them latter that day.
Sucks!

Liege is probably right. This booklet was probably designed well after the TFs packaging look had been been established, and most companies wait 'til the last minute to get things like booklets and brochures together. So most likely, all of the TFs shown were already packaged, the people working on the photo shoot opened them all up, and then—who knows?
Maybe some of those TFs ended up on some graphic designer's desk. A lot of those Autobot cars are pretty spiffy lookin'. It might be fun to do some research and find out what ad agency did all the designing and illustrating for G1.
Off topic—Liege, you a freelance photographer?

No I work for a used car advertising company. Sometimes I get to work with Ford, GM, and the others on add campaigns, but it sounds alot better than it is.
Every now and then though I'll take some pics for companies that I know for catalogs, fliers, packaging, and such but I don't do that to often.
For a while a company that I worked for also owned The Giants Insider so I'd do some sports games, but I realy didn't like doing that. Maybe cause I don't like sports, but more so because being ready to shoot that perfect moment is like getting a clear pic of lightning...

Sounds like a good gig; nothing better than having a little variety in your work and portfolio.

Usualy yeah, it's not to bad, I haven't seen my boss in months, and if I wanna sleep in or call a day early, it's my call so long as my quotas made.
Still like all jobs, it has some downs, working in the elements can be a pain, lazy clients who won't lift a finger to help you, then god forbid that leads to a mistake...
Still if you can roll with it, and don't mind actualy doing the work, you can make alot of money just by sharing your experience and efforts.
I started in this in the lowest end of the industry, now I can't tell you how many Executives, Owners, and CEOs have me on speed dial
