Wow! Toon accurate in both modes, good size, elegant transformation, and lots of articulation. What's not to like about this figure? OK, the backpack. That's about it. This guy can stand proudly next to MP Megs. Movie Megs will feel a little embarrassed as his neighbor.

I'm buyint the Animated figs. The couple that I like will be opened, the rest I'm saving to sell in a few years or so.
It's not a comon practice of mine, but I figure with the way people are clamoring, why not. I'm doing the same with 08 BBs that are now plentiful too.

Definitely buying this guy and leader class Magnus, not fond of any of the other animated toys though.

This guy will come an take over as Leader of My Decepticon Army.
Currently R.I.D Galvatron leads them. but this guy is just dripping in Awesomesauce.
Very cool.
So far from Animated I'm only going to buy Voyager Prime, Leader Magnus, This guy and Voyager Blitzwing.
Maybe leader Bulkhead but I'm waiting t see him in person before making a final decision.
Also Sentinel is a possibility, depending on how his toy looks.

Re: Animted Megatron earth mode review
Much like Movie Leader Megs, I quite like the alt mode on this, but feel distinctly "meh" about the bot mode... looks like he won't be joining the ranks on my shelves
I do think the rotors are quite cool - getting them to rotate in unison over such an oddly shaped, adjustable structure whilst not screwing up the aesthetic must have been a bit tricky.

Yeah, he's quite cool. I'm hoping to have video reviews of Blitzwing, Soundwave, and Jazz up soon.

Cool toy.....but 4 a leader class toy with a leader class price tag.......i did expected him 2 have more shoulders joints so u can some sick poses with his swords but Hasbro look like they took it away in favor of the automorph feature which startin 2 be a bit annoying 2 me

Re: Animted Megatron earth mode review
Hmm, not bad, I'll probably pick him up. Transformation's a bit simplistic for a Leader class and I don't like the red decepticon symbol (might cover it with a reprolabel), but he looks pretty good. With the comparison shots the light grey of Voyager Megatron really stands out, I wish the Deluxe was available separately and didn't have the battle damage.
