The joints on the back that are used to flip the wings up and down can crack. It's because the connector, that black piece on Skywarp and US Starscream, puts too much pressure on the joints. Some people have already shaved off bits of the connector to reduce stress.

But didn't Porsche also refuse to let their products be used by HasTak, hence Alt Jazz was a Mazda?

Volkswagen owns the majority of the Volkswagen/Porsche merger and I believe they were the ones that refused.
