Just curious what your take is on this? Will Hasbro release premium series toys down the line? I know TFA is more geared towards kids and I think premium toys may not fit in with this line. We all seemed to be pissed when the premiums were announced after we had all bought the movie toys but do you think Hasbro will do it again to milk more money?

I've noticed with Hasbro, that once they start something they tend to keep doing it, so realy, I wouldn't be suprized.

Well the premiums were made to make the movie toys look more real-life realistic. Animated is a cartoon series. So it wouldn't be the same thing
Something similar could happen. But they're pretty cartoon-accurate the way they are.

But outside of one retool, it's just repaint with a pearlcoat?
I figure Hasbro just might cause then they wouldn't have to even go as far as to make up new names for future repaints.
A depressing future in my mind, but a very probable one.

they should just do it right the first time. toy quality should be premium at all hasbro levels.
it's almost like calling a line elite, when it's just a repaint. which is all prem's are.. which is bull, cuz i've seen some sloppy paint apps on some prem figs. should've called the premium wave: "try number two"

Nah, I don’t think Hasbro would make anything like that for animated.
Premium was just a last minute gig to milk the movies popularity more, animated may do good, but I doubt they will milk it quite so much.
