Re: Is TFU Onslaught worth picking up?
Not really. It's a bit mediocre. I don't really feel it meets the same standard set by the Universe deluxes or previous classic figures.
I could go through the flaws(and there's a few), but it's not so much the flaws that bother me, as it is that when I look at mine every now and then, I just don't like it. To me it's a waste of space. If I'm ever in the mood, it'll be one of the TFs I rid myself of.
Mind you that's not to say it's bad or anything...

He's my favorite Universe figure so far! Just so much win packed into one ultra-class figure...Only drawback is that weak-ass siren-thingie, but who cares? Most people take the batteries out anyways.

I have him.
ZERO problems.
He is maybe my favorite Universe figure so far.
In fact, I bought another one to keep MISB.
Highly recommend him, I think he's very very awesome.

I love him. He might be one of my favorites in my collection. I'd buy a repaint, if it was a cool color. I don't know who else they could use the mold for; and ideas?

Personally, the first thing to come to mind would be a re-built Brawn, you know, after he got blowed up in TF:TM. That would be badass.

Go for him. He looks like he can kick the crap out of half of your collection by himself. Personally, I'd go for the Japanese release though. I prefer the more saturated blue myself, but go for whatever you like.

$25 is nothing, so pick him up. he's a cool figure even though he is a piece of junk and will likely break soon after your purchase, but what's new. that's why TFs are cool.
seriously, he is a good figure and he looks great. his bot mode is really good. however, i'm partial to powerglide.........of couse everyone else will say that is stupid. oh well.

I saw pics where someone repainted him Grimlock colors and called him War Within Grimlock. They added a few guns. He looked really kick ass.

Given the recent trend of super-sizing Micromasters, I'd say Sidetrack.GuyIncognito wrote:I love him. He might be one of my favorites in my collection. I'd buy a repaint, if it was a cool color. I don't know who else they could use the mold for; and ideas?

Only if his battle plan went wrong.

He's awesome. If I were to make any complaints about him it would be the fact that I can't make Bruticus.

Hm, I may pick up Onslaught. If only to attempt to repaint him into Roadbuster.

He's an awesome figure, the only Universe figure bigger than Voyager that I've bought so far. Of course, he'll soon be dwarfed by City Commander Ultra Magnus.
