Prowl looks nice but I'm a bit concerned that his robot mode (standard) may suffer, especially the chest and "rocket boosters" (the latter which seems almost a lot more raised than the original). I might have to buy both Animated Prowls...

However, I'm really digging Red Alert. I'm going to pick up Roadbuster and Overload/Dropshot (yes, both. I know, I'm evil... ) but I was hoping they'd repaint the final mold of the trio, Red Alert, and now they have! I missed out on them the first time round but these repaints look possibly a lot nicer than the original versions from the Cybertron line. Red Alert looks a lot better too although I'd have to say, as much as Perceptor would be awesome, the colours aren't quite right. However, saying that, I could see it being Perceptor pretty easily since they haven't done him yet.
My one concern is the price point with this thing. I'm guessing they will mark it as Ultra class. It's a shame they went for a different size class for each of the trio (which was generally a bad idea - they could have made nice Deluxes of all 3, I think) because this could have easily been a Voyager and not lost any quality. I don't really fancy paying Ultra price for it so I'm hoping they market it as Voyager, but I highly doubt it. That said, it'll be the first repaint in the Ultra line apart from Predacon Bruticus. They DO seem to be repainting an awful lot of Cybertron toys though...

My guess would be Perceptor, following the same pattern of 'Leo Prime' starting as a Legends and then a full sized redecoed figure... though he's a lot less red than Perceptor. Who knows.

At first I was leaning on Micromaster Groundbreaker, but there's no yellow on him. But then you mentioned Perceptor...

If this is Countdown then they should have made a red redeco of Cybertron Hardtop to be his partner. He looks a lot like Countdown.

Why do you show the Rocket Base when you say Countdown? This is Countdown:

Because they seem to have made this a homage to his Countdown BASE. It's an easy stretch. In the comics Countdown used to be a full sized Autobot. Maybe they used his spare parts to make the Rocket Base. When he gets up-sized again, they could give him the Rocket Base parts back.

No word at all on Countdown, this is a leaked photo from China of a loose toy, probably stolen or at least the picture was taken without permission. Not even officially mentioned yet.

Samurai Armor Prowl looks better everytime i see him, im quite glad i missed the normal one the first time round

and that repaint of CD Red Alert.. awesome.. cant wait to see his robot mode.. if he is indeed Countdown thatll be all the more reason to pick him up.. i used to have that micromaster base as a child
