Is that the Voyager Class Prime? If so, it doesn't seem to have the waist problem that the Leader Class does. Looks much better.

for some reaosn i think that is the leader class prime... doesnt seem to be similar to that grey proto we saw of the voyager size we saw awhile back (that thign ruled, the smokestacks when used as guns looked like shotguns). Can someone find that picture? I can't seem to find it now.

dunno bout u guys, but when i was but a mere tadpole and used to re enact the epic battles between autobots and decepticons, I always found the decepticons to be cooler. The toys were just more kickass. Maybe I just preferred planes to cars or had an evil streak.
Having looked with interest at the various iterations of toys over the years I still reckon that I'd still prefer the decepticons. However, with the exception of blackout, the autobot toys from the movie are definitely cooler.

My personal prime collection so far in descending order of how great i reckon the toy is -
FE Prime, Silas Breakdown (Powerizer), Dreadwing (Powerizer), FE Bulkhead, Voyager StarScream (Powerizer), Ratchet, Soundwave, Arcee, Voyager Megatron (Powerizer), Wheeljack, Thundertron (Powerizer), Ultra Magnus (Powerizer), Knockout, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee,Airachnid

I have to agree with you; most Autobot toys were pretty mediocre compared to the Decepticon toys, and when it comes to coolness, Optimus Prime always fall short of being better designed than Megatron. I guess the logic is that if you have people out there that are willing to buy anything that is a "good guy" figure, you don't have to make a well thought out toy when they are going to buy it anyway - at least that's what I think toy company mentalities are like.

The prime toy on its own merits looks impressive, the robot mode manages to hide the truck mode very well, in fact that does a better job than many binaltechs which became overly clumsy looking with the heavy breakdown of the vehicle parts.

I'm not so keen about these particular KISS Players toys. Keychain TFs are not my thing. I'm also puzzled why these particular molds were used, they seem a bit obscure.

Nevermind, I guess they don't let you direct link stuff. Wonder why it works from google. Here's the raw URL: http://tformers.com/article.php?sid=7140

If they were $20, I'd get a set of the eggbots(and scrape that heart sticker offthe lion). Otherwise, you can keep that stuff.
And I agree, Prime's looking pretty dam good! However the paint on the truck looks to segmented, I wish it would blend better.
Then again, it's gonna be that robot standing in my collection, not the truck.

I like the truck, not the robot.

I'll gladly give up $40 for that Prime. He's freaking gorgeous. Articulated fingers on a Leader Class....I'm in heaven.

Am I the only one who is really impressed by the prototype in the link above, and feel sorta cheated by the leader class in comparison to the prototype?
