Just a quick reminder for all our Seibertronians. A new episode of Transformers Animated will make its debut later this morning on Cartoon Network. From what is posted at TVGuide.com, this episode, "Along Came a Spider", focuses on the introduction of Blackarachnia as well as the Autobots first Halloween on Earth.

To find out what time it shows in your area, check your guide on your cable or satellite menu or click here.

If you are unable to catch the debut, Cartoon Network will be re-showing it on Sunday, a 1/2 hour later than the Saturday premier time.

Usually FanOfTransformers has them up by noon or 1 pm CST on Saturday....not sure about the other people putting them on!

I rely on YouTube as well, since I am too cheap to spring for cable..why pay for 345678904478956 channels of crap when you can get 7 channels of crap for free?! :grin:

Honestly, I'm just glad to have a new episode after two weeks of reruns. Having and ep with a Decepticon is a bonus. Black Arachnia as the featured Decepticon makes this a double bonus!

They're not broadcasting Transformers Animated on my country (Portugal) but I'm being able to get all the episodes in high quality from eMule. I've seen all of them so far. I hope they'll put this one too or I won't be able to see it...

A surprisingly good episode. I love how they keep using classic characters and stuff like that. Oh, and keep an eye out at the end of the ep. There's a Kremzeek standee in the pumpkin patch!!

Also, I heard that YTV will be changing their schedule. TFA will still be on Saturday mornings, but I'm not sure at what time.

Agreed. It was pretty killer to see Sentinel there.
Has me wondering why Sentinel is the Elite guard and not Prime...

I loved this episode. A lot. After watching it, I'm wondering if she'll pull what she did in Beast Wars... Y'know, with the whole side-swapping thing... T'would be a neat little nod to the BW series, yes it would.

I also wonder how long it will take the die-hard shippers to crank out some Blackarachnia x Optimus fan drabble as a result o' this episode... *shudders*

@Windracer: I give it a week, tops.

On a more positive note, this was a very good episode. This one and Thrill of the Hunt are easily my two favorite Animated episodes.

It's not that I'm to cheap, it's because they turned me off when they disconected my lordlord and gave me an attitude when I told them to fix it, so I just opted to leave it off.

Pretty cool episode. I really like the flashbacks. Elita-1 even had the mock ponytail that she had as Ariel in "War Dawn". Having Elita-1 become Blackarachnia was an interesting twist, not sure if I approve or not. I just dont want to see her go through that same BW "bad girl turns good for love" thing all over again. Optimus will just have to stay single.

i guess if i didnt have to work this morning i would have never had the chance to record it onto my portable media player but i am surpised i didnt have to downloadthe entire episode from a torrent site like i did with all the other past episoed ive missed in the past.

i saw clips of it before i had to charge my battery and lookes good for a hollaween episode theme a bit late i say would have gone perfect in october

I loved the episode, now that was a bad ass girl bot. I like the G1 Prime and Elita-1 story way better, but this one was just as tender.

OK so I just watched it, here's my notes.

- Nice to see The Tick on TV again, even though his time off the air has humbled him and now he seems less bold. SPOON non-the-less

- Not to nit pick but that was Ariel from G1, not Elita-1.

- I liked that she did have some type of special power

- Ariel turning into BlackArachnia, well, some questions.
.First off, HUH?
.Second, what was with the BA helmet lying next to the energon?
.Third, crying at the end, why cant they leave a femfatal purely evil like they realy are!?!

- I stated in the ToyFair thread that this toy was a definite. I may have to resind that knowing the trends this type of character has in store, and I already have enough turn coats of this namesake.

- All that said, renewing BlackArachnia is just cheap and lazy. They could have just as easily created a new character here, but instead they just choose to recycle hoping to ride a previously popular wave.

- SilverBolt and Real BlacKArachnia are not pleased!!!!

- BulkHead keeping with the deadly toxic poison cloud while walking down children filled streets on Halloween...

.Works for me

- At least one house should have given BulkHead a rock Charlie Brown style before dying from the pesticidic cloud he trailed.

- This episode, lots of hits, but alot more misses.

I Don't know if anyone else noticed it but...

During the Flashback when Prime goes looking for Elita, there is a ground-level shot of Optimus walking up to the Energon Cubes and on the ground is the head of Beast Wars Blackarachnia. It shows her head right after Optimus says "...Sentinal was right"

I noticed that too. That would explain where she gets that helmet from.

Did you notice Kremzeek in the shot of pumpkin patch near the end of the ep?
