Like Starscream, he really fills out the box. That's always nice to see. Sort of the opposite of what shall come to be known as "Classics Prime Syndrome". Looks a bit like there's a pair of scissors sticking out the front from this angle, though.

I do like the other figures though...mostly the Autobots but this is a disaster

If I get him I may just paint him black and giv4 him a new identity

even though its been redesigned...it still looks like an icey lump of crap. I never liked the movie design for megatron...

that face is a crapload better then what we were going to get. just the center face bit has a more humanoid look to it. it still doenst seem fit to be megatron to me.

still, i think its a pretty good toy.

a lot of us grew up with the gun megatron, and paint apps aside, the new one is one badass megs.

I looked at the gallery of this figure, and while it really is quite different from what we're used to, it has a certain charm.

I do think the alt. mode is very weird, but in a good kind of way. Like the re-designed face too.

Seeing some of these pics is getting me excited. Only 84 more days....

I'm not sure why but the wings in the in-package shot look more like 'ice covered wings' than the 'icicle wings' of he test-shot images. Are they moulded in plain translucent plastic instead of blue? Or maybe it's just the background insert?

I'm actually looking forward to the entire movie line - I'm not thrilled with some of the Decepticon designs, but I know I'll get them anyway. And thanks to the prequel comics, the Megatron design has really grown on me.
