What will King Kong and the Transformers Movie have in common? Apparently the same sound crew. With the finishing touches going onto the Transformers Movie more information about the sound crew is now available. Nelson of Michael Bay's Shootfortheedit.com has posted the following information at Shootfortheedit.com:
"I spoke to Mike about Weaving the other day and he said he's doing an awesome job,plu sthey have the guys that did th esound for King Kong doing their magic."

The sound was good in king kong. So at least this movie will have good audio. Now all we need is good music,voice acting, and a great movie and we're set.

King Kong was a marvel to the eyes and ears, but not so great to the brain otherwise. (not nice to the bum either, sitting on it for 3 hours straight is not great).

Why are people starting to bitch about theStarscream-gorilla thing? That's just old now... Maybe King Kong wasn't a great movie (have yet to see it), but from what I can tell the script/story or characters sucked. I think for a big movie like King Kong the sounds and visuals would be really good.

A girl I know in one of my graduate classes mentioned that her husband was one of the guys who worked on the transforming sound. Didn't get to quiz her much on it as it was finals weeks though
