Thrust loves to fight, as long as he is guaranteed to win. As soon as the odds turn against the Decepticons, he's the first to run and hide. He relishes the chance to push around those smaller and weaker than him, so Earth is the ultimate playground. He avoids the Autobots completely, choosing instead to pick fights with small, lightly armed groups of humans. Even then, as soon as the humans roll out any artillery, or even rocket launchers, he heads for space, to lay low until he can stop shaking from fear

Paramount owns all of the toys, thus the likelihood of this mold being repainted outside of the Movie toyline is very low. And we've already got Ramjet, and Thundercracker. And this is Thrust, so I'm assuming that you miss typo'd that as Dirge. XD

while the one you described is more less Takara Powerlinx Thrust, a red G1esque version, as seen in the galleries here
Don't worry about being a 'late' Transformers fan. I'm much of the same. I grew up with Beast Wars, didn't really bother with RID. Armada is where I really got into the fandom, and I'm still trying my hardest to finish the Armada toyline to this day! Energon and Cybertron was avoided through a second hiatus, and now a couple years later, here we are!![]()
