Strike that, it won't let me reserve it until it's actually in stock.
Doh.

This was the one Ive been waiting for. Skywarp was my first G1 Transformer and the only one that got banged up from horseplay...It will be nice to have him back next to Starscream.
Hope Thundercracker is next

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You can't reserve something until it's in stock? I think that's called "ordering."
I feel your pain, good sir.

Lucky bastard.
I just placed an order for home delivery. I don't mind the extra charge, and I don't want to wait for it to appear in stock locally.

As cool as it is, I don't feel it is necessary if you have the TakaraTomy version. The colours were close enough for Skywarp. Starscream needed the Hasbro release for the G1 colour but TakaraTomy Skywarp and Thundercracker are pretty good representations of the characters. The black used for the TakaraTomy version makes the mold stand out. I get a feeling the black will be dull on the Hasbro release.

I don't actually have it in my hands yet, I've reserved it online so I'll make the trip out 2moro to pick it up.
I'll report back then on if the price is confirmed and whether or not it's in a Euro-box.

I just reserved the last one at my local store. Have to go pick it up before the end of tomorrow (thursday). £44.99 is a fair price I think, shame it isnt included in the 25% off promo.
Dont know if I really want it or not given I have the Takara version but I have both Starscreams so might as well.

Re: Hasbro Universe MP Skywarp telepots to the UK!
Grabbed him today and can confirm US/English language only packaging. I'm assuming that the £44.99 pricepoint is due to the current 25% off promo.
He does have those annoying catalogue code stickers on the side of the box, but as they are on part of the plastic, they shouldn't be too hard to remove.
Utter bargain, I just wonder why it didn't show up at Asda

Awesome. I always prefer the english only packaging. I'm going to take the day off work tomorrow and wait for him to arrive, haha.

I know what you mean, the Euro-boxes always look a little "cluttered". What I don't get is that if stuff has ben printed up in a Euro-box (such as the recent K-mart exclusive Mini-con 10pk for example) and Hasbro know they've printed it up in a Euro-box, presumably for Europe, is why they can't communicate as to what they intend to release here

A little off topic I know, but a valid point.

It is a little out of the blue. How hard would it be to have a release schedule on their web site. If it counted down the days to the release of new stuff it could work people up and help people plan where to spend their cash.

I think (and don't quote me on this) that the English only packaging tends to be US overstock, sourced away from Hasbro UK, as they are nearly always store-exclusives, I've never seen a "mass retail" figure in anything but a Euro-box.
I'm wondering if Hasbro UK ever intended for MP-Skywarp to come out over here or if retailers knowing that TF's are big business at the moment a looking for other channels of distribution:-?

Just had it delivered to my door 30 mins ago. It's a beautiful box, I really love it as a presentation piece. The box is flawed though, thanks to Argos not taking care of their **** before sending it out to me so I can't really call it mint.
But whatever, it's the bottom of the box so no one will ever see it but me. And after finally getting all "four" of the enormous stickers off the side of the box and cleaning up the sticky crap they leave behind, it's now sitting nicely in my display case.
I really need to get a new case because it's on the verge of overflowing.

Got mine last night. Havent tried to take the stickers off it yet but happily they are stuck to the clear plastic shell and not the cardboard. I find pc cleaning wipes shift the any sticky residue fairly easily.
Looks ok, havent opened it. Not sure if I will as I have Masterpiece Skywarp out of his box.

As it was £60 the other day it kindof IS! I only paid £45 or SS. As SW has come down I'm gonna have to buy this. This is strange as I normally hate the idea of buying duplicate molds.

I didnt see it at £60 and it doesnt have the little red save £ sign against it.
