My opinion, the head is not too small. You have to be holding P/CP in your hands... if anything Sunstreaker/Sideswipes's heads might be too big :lol:

I've no complaints on this guy other than the screws appearing on Punch's mode.

I think TFCC did a bang up job.

WARNING: Be careful when sliding the car hood/engine bay forward during transformation.. Punch's rub sign can get stuck and crumple up. Lift up just slightly on the roof/windshield and then pull forward.

Sweet Jesus... 3 of them? I barely had the scratch scraped together to get one!
So... Punch's face on the final version is still yellow... I was really hoping they'd silver that to match the artwork... then again I was really hoping for a yellow dual exhaust pipe to make Punch's yellow double barreled gun like the artwork too.

I just got My p/cp and SC cyclonus in the mail today too. They are very cool. But I feel like I am transformering P/CP wrong. When I have him in CP mode his fist are backwords. meaning he has a left hand where is right hand should be and a right hand where is left hand should be. From looking at the pictures I have seen, it looks like some people have gotten past this issue. What am I doing wrong? can anyone help?

You actually pop the fists out, and then you have to swap when changing between Punch and Counterpunch. It's not too difficult, but it is a manual process

If the exposed screws on Punch bother you, I am sure you can fill them in with something and paint it to match. I am not a customizer but I am sure somebody knows what's best to use.

They do bother me. I'll probably just sharpie them so they're black, or just find some black screws.

I don't deny that the head is small. Punch side moreso than the Counterpunch side. Doesn't bother me at all though. Looks good to me. Really, your opinion might change, even a little, when you actually have it in your hands. Photos just make the head look even smaller than it is.

Take some solace. If you decide to sell him, you will more than make your money back. He seems to be a hot commodity on eBay.

I am really hoping for a 3rd party group to make another head for P/CP this ones ok but it looks to small and would have been nice if they finished painting in Punch's face. The rub signs will definitely have to come off for me and I'll put some white background autobot and Decepticon symbols on him. I'm guessing when they decided to paint over the head lights they were going for G1 toy accuracy? It would have been nice if Fun Pub had some type of plugs so the screws would be covered up. Well here is to hoping Takara does there own P/CP.

Question: Nobody laugh at me if this is a dumb questioned, but who is the other yellow copy of the mold in the pictures?

Tigertrack and Spin Out

References to Diaclone toys and the eHobby G1 Tigertrack toy. Made through an extneisve, but easy part swap from Universe Sunstreaker and Sideswipe.

Collect them all.

Now that we see the final Punch/Counter Punch mold, I'm actually very glad that I wasn't able to get my hands on one. While I do think the head is too small, it's not just that. The sheer quality of the head is weak and no where near as impressive as the original concept drawings.

I genuinely hope that those lucky enough to get their hands on this figure enjoy it. I doubt I would.

In addition to the answers CounterPunch provided, I also used Reprolabels of Sunstreaker and TigerTrack from Reprolabel.com. I'd recommend you go with the Universe coloration of Sunstreaker to change into TigerTrack as the Yellow is much brighter. Doesn't matter which Sideswipe you change into Spinout, unless you don't like chrome.
