so they'll be the same price as in the US? Wow, big sale. I won't be able to get to a TRU in the next week anyway, next month maybe..
Side note: my wife asked the manager at the TRU we were at two weeks ago about the display, and she was the first to get her name in to get it after they're done with it, so maybe I'll own it someday..

TF Collection: It has come time to start looking to sell instead of buy, I'll be posting details in the b/s/t forum.

Hey, don't start complaining about US prices. Leaders for $40? That's a steal! For $40 Canadian, we get, what, a Voyager?

I think the point he's trying to make is that TRU should be charging us close to, if not the same as US prices, since our dollar is nearly on par. It's a little annoying, but I have no means to get to the states anyway.

It's good too see there's a sale. I'll probably make my way down there pretty soon.

think i could return it and buy it on sale?
If you still have the receipt, you can get a price correction. I do it all the time since I also have a bad habit of buying figures a week before they end up going on sale...
Simply bring your receipt and ask for a price correction for the item that is on sale now, and they'll pay you back the difference, you just have to do it while the sale is on.

Looks like we will get a Prime repaint, that "Night Watch" Prime reported earlier. Ah well.

Let me guess: black? I don't think a neon orange truck with lime green highlights would be very effective on 'night watch.'

I feel like one too. I'm addicted to Robot Heroes (well, most small-sized TF figures). I'm going to finish my RH collection (or at least grab the currently available ones), but I feel like crap looking at them displayed near my Basic Titaniums and Heroes of Cybertron. Three pointing Optimus Primes? 2 Bumblebees, Soundwaves, and Grimlocks (add 2 Hot Rods, Ultra Magnuses and Megatrons to that, next week)?
I'll have to move some of them to another shelf so I don't feel like such a whore.

Haha, I guess that's a little much, yes. I usually only buy duplicates of figures if they're an awesome repaint. And then sometimes I only buy the coolest version of it. But still... argh!!
Er...why do you have multiples of the little guys anyway? They come in different 2-packs, which you have to buy to get all the characters, resulting in doubles? Or something?
Somehow my last post had a part missing, I meant to say about Nightwatch Prime: "I was hoping for a more subdued, darker-colored, flameless, more G1-esque deco. Am I hoping for too much?
"

I don't buy duplicates (except for that time I bought 2 Beast Wars Insecticons because they were shelfwarming for ten years, so I got them for a good price).

Well, I collect Basic Titaniums, Heroes of Cybertron, and Robot Heroes, which results in the same character appearing several times (such as the quintessential Optimus Prime). However, some of them share similar poses (the Optimus Primes from all 3 lines have him pointing and holding his rifle with his arm bent at the elbow). See attached photo.

That would be cool. Silver stripes rather than flames. However for the robot legs to be accurate, there would have to be blue on the front of the truck, I guess.

They sure are! If you want to get the one in the middle, he's on sale! He comes with a Ravage figure. Ravage is one of my favourite Robot Heroes.

Ohhhh...well that's not that bad. It's still different figures, so it doesn't look like you're too much of a Hasbro whore.
