I've only picked up old blue and I'm impressed so far. After watching the pilot episode of LD, I knew I needed that Voltron in plastic. Then I watched the rest of season 1 and 2 in a single sitting... it was glorious :shock:

So are we talking season 3 yet? Too soon for spoilers? I feel the need to speculated rampantly :michaelbay:

So my big question: where is Shiro? Is this following the original where he'll end up gone and then Allura will step in to pilot a lion, with Keith taking over black and maybe Lance moving to red?

Also, I loved that season 2 finale!

That's my guess. I get Keith moving to black as he piloted it once and Shiro was basically beating that option into the ground, but I don't get Lance moving to red because they played up the whole lion chooses you based on personality thing so much.

It would match all the paladins up with the original show though, and the nostalgic in me would be tickled.

The real question is where is Shiro? Will he be back? Ghost Jodi form? He'll we never really did get his full back story did we? Also it's kind of a bummer he finally unlocked the black lion's full potential then poof?

So many questions, so much potential awesome!

I almost feel that somehow he got transported to an alternate dimension or even merged with Zarkon somehow when the blade went blazing sword on them. I mean, whatever effect happened as a result of the blazing sword coupled with Zarkon's near fatal damage was enough to separate Voltron, and Zarkon was a black lion pilot, so yeah.

So will the next season be a quest for Shiro or will we just settle into the robeast of the week format to give us our Voltron money shot? Honestly I wanted more robeast from S1 & 2. I get a feeling we'll be seeing more abilities learned by team Voltron as the season progresses, just didn't seem like we saw everything them kitties can do yet.

Number one thing on my wishlist, a better theme for forming Voltron. I just don't get excited when they do it.

I still stand behind the form Voltron music from Voltron Force. We talked about it before carytheone, it's a good mix of new and old!

Allura piloting the Black Lion would be awesome!! I mean, she's the "princess" of lions right?! Or is that not a thing in this series..that I have yet to watch..but am super excited about :lol:

Working on my review of SOC Voltron and just wanted to share a bit of advice; when opening the lion mouths it's a good idea to grab from under the jaw, and not stick your finger in to pull down. The teeth are very sharp.

Heh I'm pretty sure everyone learned within 10 minutes of playing with the figure that the teeth are very sharp =P .... I certainly did.

TBH I didn't really discover anything. I watched a ton of (mostly Asian) videos while waiting for my GX-71 to arrive. So I did know in advance about the heads coming off and the elbows.

Wishful thinking, but if I ever see this figure from a reputable seller at a good price, I would seriously consider getting a 2nd. Don't think I ever thought that about any TF.

I can't see them going for more than $15 a figure
