Had a construct bots Prime ready for something to use the head with, and I knew I wanted to tackle the simplified Beast Hunters Voyager mold, so here's my results so far.
The 'belt' is an atempt to make the front of the truck look better, currently having to think about this part the most, but the concept is here for now. I fixed the back portion with new parts last night, since this here was a test and the connector piece at his...ummm...bum was cut too much. Didn't take more pics since I'll wait for the build to come along more.
The tanks on his back are to be attached via joints so in transformation they fall where they should at the side of his legs. They are taked on for now just to create the back muscle. I'm working on the joint for it now.
The back piece with the head attached swings around and folds easily and effortlessly along the legs, inside the vehicle modes 'cage'. The figure is still nice and easy to transform and handle!
Planned colour changes are to obviously eradicate the green and at the very least paint the red plastic in a nice deeper enamel.

I'm having fun with this one so far

*Update*
The build is now pretty much done. The back piece will no doubt get some cosmetic adds, some styrene to fill gaps etc, but it's all built and it all functions. The belt/ front fender slides up and down in transformation, but at the moment it is still a bit loose and likes to pop off
The biggest thing now is the colours!
