Wal-Mart WFC/Generations availability?

Hopefully if there is some kind of launch at Targets/Walmarts to coincide with the GI Joe:POC line (which I think is still just a rumor now) that maybe Generations Wave 2 is included for release with Wave 1. (I want Megatron and Soundwave bad.) I'm thinking back to when the Iron Man 2 line came out back in March and Wave 1, which was found before the "release date" wasn't stocked as heavily as Wave 2 when they were official released. This is just my speculation.

As far as I know, K-Mart had one sighting. I don't think I've heard of any more. Scratch them off the list.
Wal-Mart? None of the new product is on the current planogram (Summer reset)
Target? Same as Wal-Mart.
They will be getting their's in the Fall reset. It's on the planogram.
TRU? Only retail, brick & mortar store in which you'll find these.
BBTS, and places like Digital-Toys, plus TRU.com are the only places you'll find these online.
Kohl's is releasing them, but only in small doses as evidenced by the sightings. Kohl's won't bring them out in full force, they haven't for a while now.
You're wasting your gas, your time, and wracking up miles on your car only to come home empty handed and a little lighter in the tank.
You'll save time, money, and peace of mind just ordering them over the internet.
By the way: I was checking stores on the way to other places. I'm not exhausting resources in a massive toy hunt or anything. Your tone comes across as a bit confrontational and I'd appreciate it if you could try and make things sound a bit more friendly. Text can be ambiguous. That said, I do appreciate the info

Kmart had both HFTD and PCC 2 and 5-packs. No voyagers, no leader Scream, no Gens at all.
still seeking Drift, but at least now I have Searchlight.

He's incorrect too, the first Drift/Thrust sighting in my state was at a Target.
And according to a (competent) Target employee I spoke to, Target's toy stock is supposed to be going through their transitional period soon.
Guess you can never be sure when and where stuff will show up.
As far as I know, it's supposed to be up to the district manager anyway.

Walmart.com is out-of-stock of Drift. I suggest the HasbroToyShop right now and use code 'Thanks10' (just the letters) to save 10% or if there are other codes I'm assed out.

That would be because Drift is slightly popular.

Which befuddles me. He's...a'ight. But his casemates blow him out of the water. He doesn't even compare to a Seeker redeco/remold, and the WFC bots. That's not to say that Drift is a bad figure, but he's not great. He's definitely middle of the road, but with great posability.

To me, It's fairly logical that he is the most popular. He has not been released in another format(i.e. botcon/henkai...the kit doesn't count.), and Prime and Bumblebee have a case asst all to themselves so there seems to be far more of them out there.

Well what I think is. Regardless of whether he's a good toy, or the fact he hasn't been released in a different format (yet). His character isn't that popular. It's probably about 50/50 for the people who do like him, and the people who hate him.
Thrust however, is a different story. There are allot of people who wanted a mainline release of Thrust. Even the aggravated people who got the Botcon and Gentei versions will probably get this, just so they have a version they're not afraid to take out of the box.

As we are evaluating about Drift, I like him in AHM. Then he started declining after reading his spotlight. I think I will never try to read his mini-series.

Probably, So I ordered Thrust to go along with it.I just felt site-to-store would have taken too long. So I went ahead and ordered.

I've used Site To Store before. Took 4 days. Does it normally take longer than that? Because a CSM told me that their list of days for the shipment is just a basic guide but not guaranteed and most items come long before the expected due date.

Between Generations and the new GI Joe Pursuit of Cobra line I'm having a hard time waiting. All this great new stuff is, like, ALMOST here!

The only time I have ever used site to store, it took nearly two months. Not a joke or an exaggeration.

It took them two months to ship it, or two months in transit? O_o

Wait. Wal-Mart had STS during Cybertron, back in 2005? I thought the service was newer than that?
Still, that's ridiculous. You shouldn't have had to wait that long.
