Wait. Wal-Mart had STS during Cybertron, back in 2005? I thought the service was newer than that?

Still, that's ridiculous. You shouldn't have had to wait that long.

It would have actually been in '06 or '07 -whenever they were desperately trying to get rid of surplus cybertron stock. The figure was certainly not new at the time. Perhaps that was majority of the issue.

If you use site to store shipping it is free.

I ordered the Walmart Exclusive All Spark Jolt back in 2008 using site to store. I have to wait two weeks to get it. Now what Walmrt uses is a new service called Site-to-Store Express where you pay $29 for the whole year to get stuff shipped to the sore like in a day or two. They just started this as at the time I worked for Walmart this wasn't an option back in '07 ~ '08. Now I know the old STS will probably be not as fast because Wally is losing money in a sense because shipping to your door is probably economical then having extra stock in the backroom. All in all, site to store saves on shipping, but sometimes the horror stories of finding site-to-store items still hang in my head from when I used to work there.

The other option to use STS was too late because the second I was to pull the trigger Drift was out-of-stock. So I went to HTS, which has yet to ship my items even though it said they would ship today.

This is ridiculous. I havent' posted on the boards since before I got married (almost 4 years) but I saw something in Wal-Mart that I just had to vent to people would understand my frustration. There have been the same 27 Tuner Mudflaps at my local Wal-Mart for like 2 1/2 weeks now (probably closer to 3 weeks). I can't believe that they've keept the same 1 transformer on their shelf for this long. The only others are 1 delux ratchet and 1 FAB Jazz. No other transformers in the entire store. Does this mean that they're waiting for someone to buy these before they brign out the generations stuff, Drift in particular. :BOT:

It's been my experience that HTS ships when they say. It takes two days for the tracking information to update. When it finally does update and says shipped, you'll find out that it's been in transit and at least half way to your destination. That's always how it's worked for me.

My post was in response to someone using hasbrotoyshop.com, not walmart.com :)
