Wait. Wal-Mart had STS during Cybertron, back in 2005? I thought the service was newer than that?
Still, that's ridiculous. You shouldn't have had to wait that long.
It would have actually been in '06 or '07 -whenever they were desperately trying to get rid of surplus cybertron stock. The figure was certainly not new at the time. Perhaps that was majority of the issue.
I ordered the Walmart Exclusive All Spark Jolt back in 2008 using site to store. I have to wait two weeks to get it. Now what Walmrt uses is a new service called
Site-to-Store Express where you pay $29 for the whole year to get stuff shipped to the sore like in a day or two. They just started this as at the time I worked for Walmart this wasn't an option back in '07 ~ '08. Now I know the old STS will probably be not as fast because Wally is losing money in a sense because shipping to your door is probably economical then having extra stock in the backroom. All in all, site to store saves on shipping, but sometimes the horror stories of finding site-to-store items still hang in my head from when I used to work there.
The other option to use STS was too late because the second I was to pull the trigger Drift was out-of-stock. So I went to HTS, which has yet to ship my items even though it said they would ship today.
