$60? Starscream was $50 in Wal-Mart. Inflation or just Hasbro's MSRP and Wal-Mart will knock off $10?

Probably pick up one of him, own the Takara Version and is already displayed. He would just be MISB with my two other Screamers I have.

thx for the compliment skywarp-2. The AFX (? co.?) bust is what inspired me to think of a teleporting variant, sort of. That bust is cool b/c he's half solid and half clear purple just like Skywarp phases.
Anyway, to those who hoped the stripes are painted and not stickers --i'm gonna guess they're painted. I've seen him twice and here's a pic i took at botcon:

sorry about the clarity, that's as clear as it's gonna get -since the site I posted on may've truncated some of the file size. On my laptop the actual photo is sharper & I'm still led to believe the stripes are painted. I took some quik pix of him at SDCC too, but those aren't sorted out/uploaded yet. (& a few of my friends r unhappy b/c I have costumed shots of them, + hot chix all over, I better get on that, there's just so many ~250!!!)

That is a really sweet picture despite the blur. I completely forgot about the tail fins, and they're really quite eye catching. It looks like the finish is actually quite nice as well. Great! ^_^

I like him, but I'm gonna wait until he gets quite knocked down in price like their Starscream eventually did. I always ended up getting them while they were still fresh and expensive, and I always regretted paying that extra money.

Skywarp looks pretty impressive. I missed out on Starscream when it came out, not due to a lack of availability, but a lack of money. Can't wait for Skywarp!

The more I think about this subject, the more awesome it is. I have been totally avoiding getting into the Masterpiece figures, but this is going to make me change my mind. I was pricing SW on ebay a couple months ago and just couldn't do it because of the price. I want it freaking bad, and this will certainly help me justify the price point. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!

I'll pass on this one. I have the complete MP seeker set, no need to downgrade to a Hasbro version (sorry Hasbro fans.)

Be that as it may, congrats to Hasbro on reprolabeling it to 1984. Classics Skywarp had this funky scheme to him. :???:

Why is Hasbro only selling these at Wal-Mart? I can't stand that place. I hate to sound stuck up, but I'm always affraid I'll get robbed if I go in there. I mean Target, Toys 'R Us, anywhere. But Wal-Mart? Masterpiece figures are clearly intended for die-hard collectors and Wal-Mart is not exactly a place that comes to mind when I think of that kind of customer.
