Last I heard they were making War for Cybertron 2 for a summer 2012 release. What are your thoughts on WFC2? Do they bring it to earth? Do they continue the story on Cybertron with those who did not escape? Do they go in a completely different direction and focus on the Autobots journey to earth (with several stops in between)? I personally hope they focus on the actual "War on Cybertron" again with larger scale battles on Cybertron itself. Maybe even focus on a different group of Autobots (Wreckers? Dinobots?) There's so many directions they could take it if they really wanted to. I was surprised when the first game ended with Optimus and crew leaving for earth.

WFC = War For Cybertron

WFC =/= War For Earth

WFC = War For Cybertron

It would probably focus on the remaining Autobots (Under someone's leadership) fighting for Cybertron and the Remaining Decepticons (Under the Leadership of Shockwave) fighting to control its energon.

I can see Magnus being able to be played, along side Hot Rod, Kup, and some of the Wreckers.

However, Hot Rod, Kup, and the Dynobots were able to be played on the DS versions of the first game.

I think it would be cool to continue right where it left off. The autobots are loading up and leaving. Then They get hit with missles and all that other stuff. So they take the battle to the other planets. It could also start off that the ship the autobots get ready to get on gets blown up and they have to fight and rebuild a new one and go to other planets and take the battle there.

I think WFC 2 should involve the teams from the first game on the actual final days before lift off. Where Cybertron is actually dying.

WFC = War For Cybertron

WFC =/= War For Earth

WFC = War For Cybertron

War for Earth = War for Cybertron. The only reason they were on Earth was to collect resources to help win the war on Cybertron.

I really don't think we can make these wfc =/= war for earth inferences quite yet. its called wfc 2 meaning its a sequel to wfc, not necessarily meaning its going to take place on cybertron or not. I'm just glad they're making another decent console transformers game cause I'm sick of only having like 200 total players in online multiplayer for wfc.
