I checked Walmart again today for Netflix Soundwave. No luck. However, I did find Kingdom Inferno and Dinobot along with Studio Series '86 Kup. Not too bad.

This is driving me nuts lmao I have both on preorder through Amazon for $24.99 and it's like do I want to pay $5 to have them in hand now. I know I don't need them now, and Amazon is good about pre-orders, but ain't anything like finding a score actually in the store.

Out of curiousity due to the reveal of the reissues, can Kingdom Cheetor hold the original versions's guns?

Unfortunately no.

Thew pegs on the guns are too small for Kingdom Cheetor's fist holes.

That's unfortunate. I'd hoped that that could be a good solution to the lack of guns. Oh well, back to hoping Tigatron comes with both the tail and gut guns

I picked up Inferno today. He’s awesome. It’s the perfect G1 update. I had the original when I was a kid and this one just made me smile so much. Never thought I’d be so excited about Inferno! Also, Rung’s blast effects look really good with him. It looks like water instead of a drill.

Do what I did, go 1/2 way and buy Dinobot, but save your receipt. If you already have Grapple, then you already know how Inferno transforms, but Dinobot is a new mold which is why I suggest him. Keep your Amazon pre-order and when it arrives return it to Walmart with your full price receipt.

That way you get to have Dinobot early, but still keep the sale price and all it really involves is loaning Walmart $30 (plus tax) for another 6-7 weeks or so.

Rodimus looks well-made but not worth $80 for me. It really feels like :HASBRO:

is pushing what the market will bear price-wise. Warden mentioned on twitter not too long ago that is Blaster was in WFC he would probably be a leader class in spite of his in-fiction size... yikes.

Good thing I snagged a PotP Rodimus on discount, as I find his smaller robot mode a passable Rodimus Prime - his headsculpt looks a bit more careworn than a typical Hot Rod but not absolutely dead inside like the larger robot's or the new figure's.

Still might wind up buying the overpriced SS86 Hot Rod at some point, though...

I mean you'd just have to do a Voyager scale Blaster packed with ramhorn, steeljaw, eject and rewind and you'd be at leader class pricing. It's not ideal (I'd much rather have Blaster/Soundwave as voyagers and then if you want to get their cassettes you can get them in two/four packs), but it's not hard to see how you could get Blaster to leader class price point using the standard of two micromaster cassettes=$10 set by the siege two pack, Netflix Soundwave, and the Selects Soundwave Spy Patrol.

I'd give my left nut for a WFC Blaster that's just a repaint of Netflix Soundwave with a different head would satisfy the desire. Both nuts for a new mold.

Target Circle has a 25% off coupon that I hope to use on Dinobot if I'm lucky enough to see him today. That should make the price the same as my Amazon preorder, then add the lil 5% for using a Red Card should take care of most of the taxes.

If you don't have a Red Card, I highly recommend getting the debit card version as it just attaches to your bank account with no need for a credit check and another monthly bill. You'd be surprised how much that 5% can add up plus I'm always getting a $5 or $10 loyalty coupon.

Entertainment Earth is the go to for case breakdowns. Kingdom Leader wave 2 is Ultra Magnus and Beast Megs. The next wave is not known yet, but my bet would be either a solid case of Galvatron or packed with a repeat of UM.

I just opened Cyclonus and MAN! I'm impressed! :APPLAUSE:

The transformation was fun to figure out. Plus that bot is ridiculously toon accurate and there is no gaps at all in the spaceship mode.

One more "mini masterpiece".
This make me want SS86 Scourge even more.

The only thing to make him perfect would be a target master partner. But as it is, It's a great update.

This got me to thinking, I wonder if there are any Siege battlemaster designs and/or possibly molds that exist, but didn't make it into production. Not one of the existing ones, because they wouldn't work for where I'm going.

Nightstick. If there was a suitable design with a 5mm post going straight back in addition to a traditional 5mm handle, then it would work on Cyclonus just like the universe one did. And, would also work on an Inferno repaint for Artfire should one end up happening.

Damnit Hasbro, make it happen, some type of target master/weapons pack for Kingdom would do the trick.

I grabbed the last Ultra Mag along with Huffer and Airrazor. No Voyagers or Core-class but they had a couple each of the deluxes. 25% off Magnus plus $10 off a $60 or more purchase and the 5% Red card savings all added up nicely. Now I can cancel my Gamestop pre-order.
