The alt mode will look more Earthlike in the front with the opaque blue hull and open cockpit. The spoiler can't be helped, nor the visible robot mode chest in the back, but I didn't mind those aspects of the Siege mold anyway. It's not perfect, but its closer than either the Siege or Kingdom versions achieve alone to the look I want, particularly in robot mode.

I will, but it won’t be for a few more months at least until Pulse ships Kingdom Mirage and Grimlock out.

Such BS with the supposed “delay email” they sent which I was somehow magically supposed to respond to.
Blessing in disguise???
Thankfully ALL of my other preorders are from different retailers.

I approved my third delay this morning of Tracks and Scorponok so I went to my main Target during lunch. Freaking ghost town in the toy aisles. Hoping a reset is around the corner as there were a lot of yellow discount tags.

My gut tells me that Tracks will see a revisit in the next three years. There's a lot of smaller problems that pick away at the Kingdom Figure imo, so I decided to skip it (at least for now). Maybe in Legacy we'll see a different Tracks that isn't 90% transparent plastic with a less awkward chest... we can only hope.

Yeah, I wouldn't doubt it, but I hope it's sooner than 3 years!!
I'm also hoping that the rumors about Ratchet are true. I was tempted by the Amazon 2 pack, but imo that mold works for ER Ironhide so much better.
I guess I always envision him as the "brawn", and Ratchet the "brains"... I get it, they're based on the same original toy, and it's a kill two figures with one mold scenario.
I always kind of assumed shape/size-shifting happened at least a bit to where Ratchet was just a little smaller in bot mode. Maybe not even in height, but in bulk.
Very anxious to start getting official word about the Legacy line.

Generally the next Toyline is revealed mid-to-late year. So we should expect some mention of Legacy at Pulsecon (like Kingdom was last year) or NYCC if that's still happening.

It's fine to want what you want, but this is the first Generations Tracks update in a decade, and we got two releases each of Ratchet and Ironhide in the last three years. I would not expect updates for them anytime soon. I'm very grateful that the last six years have included at least one of nearly every cartoon character from G1, and consequently I'm not expecting to see those same figures prioritized in the next six, notwithstanding the big hitters.

NYCC 2021 is happening, though I haven't seen explicit confirmation that Hasbro will be attending.

It's not exactly like people have a choice to get ER Ratchet anymore, and even then the retools were criticised. I don't doubt the leak/rumour of Hasbro's working on a new Ratchet/Ironhide since the last one sold like hotcakes (in part due to Scalpers).
Tracks is C-List, so he's got some time before a redo unless people really don't like the figure (or he just implodes).

I approved my third delay yesterday and just got the cancellation email for Tracks and Rodimus. My local Target just got restocked with Black Arachnias, Cheetors, and Warpaths. Both Walmarts restocked all the pegs with Netflix and core class. And I had high hopes after finding Grindor and Slag.

...but by the time I saw as such, they only had a Scorponok and 2 Wheeljacks left, not the Wingfinger I was looking for. Shame.
But, while I've got Scorponok in my head, has anyone found a way to attach his included Cyberbee to Primal's chest? I'm not intending to go back and get Scorpy if the answer is yes, but I'm interested in his potential repaints, and having that functionality would be cool.

Yes, I meant a repaint of the beast mode head. I know what Tigertron’s robot head looks like. It’s just in the video, the sculpt of the head has proportions and expression very similar to Tigertron’s beast mode head and seems to be bigger in size than Cheetor’s beast mode head so I wouldn’t be surprised if it is used on the voyager version coming out.

Scourge, Galvatron, and Cyclonus look awesome together. I can also feel that Galvatron is a leader because of his thickness and weight.

In vehicle mode, the trio is awesome. Plus that transformation was unexpectedly pretty involved. One of the rare times I had to rely on the instructions for a Generations toy. Overall, I can't call this mode "mini MP", but it's only the second time since G1 that Galvatron had this mode. And compared to the half-assed Titan Return, it's pretty near perfect.

I'm pretty glad to have him. Especially with at 7$ off!

It’s because the figure lost functionality with this Earthmode “upgrade.” The remolded parts also look less on model to the G1 cartoon than the Siege version. They went out of their way to “fix” something that was never broken. All they needed to do was ditch the clear plastic and change some tampographs.
This right here.

Sorry, last I checked everyone was up in arms over the breeze-block mirages arms formed in the vehicle mode on the siege release, so you can't say that there was nothing to fix, because hasbro fixed the arms you all hated, and now look what you get for it

Neither did I, I actually liked his cybertronian mode more. I'm just saying it was a pretty common complaint that was brought up when it was revealed, so you can see how hasbro's in a lose-lose situation with the fandom.
My only problem with the mold is that the legs don't clip together very well, and it doesn't look like that was fixed on the new figure. I don't have the funds to get the set, but I did want the grimlock and would've liked a fixed mirage.

Hasn't seemed floppy in all the reviews I've seen, but I don't make my purchases on hearsay (good or bad). If I have an issue with a figure, I take the good with the bad.

Not me, too much cool stuff to buy for me to settle. It would be a waste of money and space.
I got Kingdom Scorponok ordered on Amazon and canceled my Target preorders. If I see Tracks in person and I like it, then I'll buy it like I did KD Inferno. If not, then I will spend that money on something I actually like.
