As for the beasts not having the ports to accommodate the fossilizers, I wonder if it was just a shortsight Hasbro's part or it was a decision to keep the animal aesthetic intact.

Transmutate's in Selects so she doesn't count as part of the main line.
Beast Wars had three seasons:Kingdom's main line has no toys of characters/character bodies from Seasons 2 or 3.
- Season 1 - normal organic beast modes
- Season 2 - Transmetals and Fuzors
- Season 3 - Transmetal 2s

Season 1 was about double length compared to the later seasons: 26 Episodes (23 if you combine two-parters) compared to the usual 13. Inferno was introduced in Episode 18, so he definitely feels like a Season 2 character but he's still technically Season 1.
With that said Hasbro may consider Inferno to be different from the Season 1 characters introduced earlier (Airrazor was only introduced three episodes prior, however).
Or maybe they're testing the waters for semi-realistic bugs n such before attempting Inferno, if Blackarachnia and Waspinator sell well, they'll probably consider Tarantulas and Inferno (and rumour has it that Tarantulas is already on the table for post-Kingdom).

I think we might have got Inferno, if his name wasn't actually Inferno

Why would the name matter? We got Inferno and his name is Inferno.
Or do you mean, it would be confusing to have 2 Infernos in the same line?

The latter, might be different if they were in different size classes but that would likely cause complaints by itself...

Now that would be amazing! The Galvatron figure is acceptable, but his chest is too big, by the looks of these shots the cannon will also be too big. And there is also the unnecessary battle damage. This figure needs to be retooled and redecoed into Straxus and maybe even Jhiaxus.Jelze Bunnycat wrote:Why do I get the feeling a retool into Straxus is pending?

Minus the waist which is too small! At least the crotch piece is ... the purple piece that should go out to the gray pieces that flank the sides of his hips. Why does that piece stop and show the black underneath?
