Confirmed WJ wants Rainbow Brite and Strawberry Shortcake in this TF line
D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Transformers should be like Marvel Legends, and this is at long last a step in the right direction, a step that was made in Thrilling 30 and then stagnated, and now is finally headed that way again.
o.supreme wrote:I too feel that this line should have stuck with the original series. Not for any lack of love for BW, I think BW is great, but every BW toy in this line is a potential original series character that gets snubbed. Conversely, every original series character in this line takes a spot away from what could have been more BW characters in a line dedicated to them.
If they wanted to do a Generations crossover theme, it just could have been done better IMHO.
Quantum Surge wrote:Me thinks this guy will pop up at around the last Earthrise wave like Combiner Wars Buzzsaw did.
Same price point, different Class name. It's all about price points, Kev!TF-fan kev777 wrote:Quantum Surge wrote:Me thinks this guy will pop up at around the last Earthrise wave like Combiner Wars Buzzsaw did.
Except it would have to be all or nothing for the wave 1 core class since that class doesn't exist on shelves right now. Buzzsaw was Legends which carried over from CW to TR, so he could be released under CW ahead of TR without screwing up the size classes. The same setup doesn't exist here, I don't see them jamming Rattrap into micromaster packaging.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Literally everything in Siege and Earthrise have been exactly that, too.griftimus prime wrote:these will just be updates of old looks?
It IS a new mold.griftimus prime wrote:he looks nice but i was hoping for some cool new molds.

Munkky wrote:It looks decent enough, I'd say I like the robot mode more than the rat mode, if only because the panel lines going across the rat's body stand out a lot more than on either the Thrilling 30 version or even the original Beast Wars figure. I wasn't expecting Masterpiece quality, and I'll still definitely by it.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.
Deadput wrote:His flesh colored robot mode feet creep me out.
I understand why it's the case since it's the Rat mode feet as well but still, just looks so odd in Robot mode.

It's a shame they couldn't figure out weapon storage in Rat mode.

Or there could actually be one, but tonton didn't figure out, as he gets no instructions.

What?! But then how does he know how it transforms?
