I'm definitely hyped for all these Beast Wars figures. In fact, there may be more figures that I'm interested in in Kingdom than there were in Siege, which is awesome. BW Megs could even be my first WFC leader. Still waiting for Target to clearance Shockwave...

I am slightly worried about the lack of Terrorsaur, Tarantulas and BW Inferno, though. Hopefully they are also coming. Same for Skids, Needlenose and Swerve/Gears, though less for my interest and more for everyone else.

The repacks of ER Prime, Wheeljack, Arcee and Starscream are kinda lame, but I'm very surprised there's no listing for a Kingdom Bumblebee. I guess this means he probably is only being released in the Netflix line?

Odd no listing of Roddy anywhere, given earlier leaks/rumors put him at the core of time travel shenanigans that make the basis of this crossover, plus the rumors of a "mutant" rodimus prime figure. But then again, if the ss86 line is real, maybe that is where he will be found.

Definitely curious to see who the commander and Titans will be. It's already been said it's not beast wars characters though that could just be misdirection. There are lots of commander scale characters I could think of. Deathsaurus top of my list, tidal wave as some have speculated, etc. But who is left from Titans? The only combiner I could think of off hand that would be Leo Kizer. Wich would be cool I guess if the commander was star saber, but I don't think they would go that route. Other titan scale characters I could think of would just be repaints of existing Titans. New Primus to go with Unicron? Iaconus from Cyberverse? There really isn't a whole lot of possibilities I can come up with

Stoked for this. I missed out on Universe Cheetor and Dinobot, got Generations Rhinox, Rattrap and Waspinator back when they released and was disappointed they never did anything with the others in the Generations line. Was looking at getting a Robot Masters/Telemocha Optimus Primal, but the prices for those are INSANE.

Would probably at least get Primal, Cheetor and Dinobot to fill out the original 5 Maximals, may pick up Tigatron, Airrazor and some Predacons if the molds are good.

Dinobot (or at least BW Megatron) needs to have the Golden Disk as an accessory. Hasbro ... do this right ...

Wondering if the obvious absence of characters like BW Inferno and Terrorsaur mean they will be exclusives or show up in future Selects releases. It seems too conspicuous not to be one of those possibilities.

Really interested to see how the Leader class Galvatron turns out. Will it essentially be an upsize of TR Galvatron or a new mold? Or an entirely different "Galvatron" say from Car Robots, for example. We are at the 20 year anniversary of that show and some of his alt forms certainly sync up with the beast theme of Kingdom.

There's rumours that the commander class is Rodimus but as always its speculation.

The current rumour I heard is the titan class figure was the Ark.
And to answer another question, we dont know when these will be officially revealed.

As well as Deathsaurus.

Maybe they will turn Tidal Wave into a Titan class figure. That would be awesome and might be the first Titan class figure I'm actually interested to get. For a Commander class figure (ignoring that it might not be a Beast Wars character) I could see Magnaboss and Tripredacus consisting of three Voyager class figures each or maybe a mix of Voyager and Deluxe class figures.

If the titan turns out to be the Ark, maybe it's another Omega Supreme? I doubt it since we just got a titan Omega and it wouldn't be very G1, but it sure would be awesome.

It is wishful thinking I'm afraid. The titan class and Commander are not bw related so if the titan was tidal wave, it'd probably be his armada form.

I'd be down with an Ark Titan Class but does that mean the figure it comes with that doesn't normally transform...would that be teletran 1? ;)

Good to know, I was speculating based on the land leaker sourcing his rumors on design files, which were likely completed. Is there a good high-level explainer on the production lifecycle?

Why explain it if the whole thing is shown in detail with WFC Unicron? Parts of the design process like sketches, touchups, back-and-forth between HasTak, down to a shot of an actual test shot mold (one of many if I may add) shown online by Hasbro employees. Kitty approved too!

I also meant the timing of the production lifecycle, i.e. how much lead time is required in these steps to keep to a schedule. Since Unicron is a highly unusual piece, its schedule might not mirror that of standard product lines.

They are. But since the Leader slots have been taken, we're speculating that Rodimus might be the Commander class figure.
Of note is that another leaker (who seems to be legit, since he's been shown images of figures like Rattrap) on TFW says that Rodimus is a Leader according to his sources (which seems iffy, given that we already have 3 brand new leaders). The main one only said that Rodimus would be controversial, and never confirmed his size class.

The standard cycle from development to release is roughly two years. A lot of it, mostly the first half to three-quarters I think, is spent on fine-tuning initial designs and testing of molds. You know, tweaking stuff to make it work better. Expedition (prioritizing a certain aspect of the cycle of any given figure above the others) is an option for emergencies, look up how Armada Hot Shot came to be (don't asking how his shoulders hurt).
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

I'm disappointed the big toys are just gonna be more G1 guys. a Commander or Titan Class version of the Grand Mal with head, jet, and robot modes would have made a pretty cool surprise.

Tuned Agent wrote:I am slightly worried about the lack of Terrorsaur, Tarantulas and BW Inferno, though. Hopefully they are also coming.

I still feel like we're not gonna get a Tarantulas because they don't want to do two spider molds, and I don't expect a BW Inferno because of the G1 one.

And it's kind of a shame there's no real chance of us getting new toys of the Season 2 and 3 BW characters. I'd be fine with them de-Transmetalizing Rampage if they needed to so he could fit in.
