i am in need of ideas of how to make money. i sold things on ebay, and i cant get a job yet. and the other way i get TFs is by begging my mom to get them for me. what do you guys do for TFs money?

If you're too young to get a "real" job, how about mowing lawns in your neighborhood, or delivering newspapers?

Back in Elementary me and a buddy would go out mowing lawns every day in the summertime. We would make enough cash to buy ourselves tranformers, SW action fleet, or pokemon cards every week or so :ic$:

Aye, people love young people with a work ethic, doing summer odd-ball chores for friends and neighbours would be a good way to get by. It's also very good to put on a resume when you are actually old enough to get jobs.

in the witer id offer to get groceries for elderly people and shovel snow. in the summer id do lawns, walk dogs, and offer general help (painting,cleaning pools etc.)

you could also get a couple of friends together, buy a van and a dog, and go around the country solving mysteries.

I personally have a job (I'm a third grade teacher), and I can't really recall a summer where I wasn't working. When I was 14, I got a worker's permit from my school and took lifeguard classes. Lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons has pretty much been my summer job ever since.

I have a friend who used to mow lawns during the summer because he couldn't swim (and therefore couldn't lifeguard with me). That being said, you can either get a worker's permit from your school (assuming you're 14 or 15) and get a job at Mc Donald's or something, or you can just do what pretty much everyone has been suggesting and mow lawns/paint houses/walk dogs/etc.

Get together some of your friends that need money, then line up jobs that people need done (lawns, dog walking, painting, cleaning, etc). Pay your friends 50% of the money you collect to do the jobs.

You've now solved two problems (Jobs that need doing, and friends that need money) and made a profit, welcome to the world of entrepreneurship.

Back in the day, I did pet sitting (assuming you like animals), had a paper route (steady source of income in all seasons) and finally got a "real" part time job. The previous work experience looked great on resumes and guaranteed I had good references.

I'm now in the world of having an elderly parent and know how much older people appreciate younger people doing simple things, mowing, trimming, carrying groceries, driving them to the stores or running errands, cleaning windows.

I think the opportunities to earn money are almost limitless. It's easier to pick something you enjoy and try to make a job and income around that. Be creative and don't be afraid to get your hands dirty.

If you find Warpath on the shelves, he scalps nicely. Odd jobs are going to be your best bet unless you are extremely entrepreneurial. But then it takes money to make money. Personally I think washing cars and cutting grass is the easiest ways to get paid at that age. Make some fliers up advertising your $20 per yard (example only) lawn job. Washing cars only costs water and a bucket but you better pay attention to detail.

You could wander the streets looking for cans and bottles to put into the food store bottle return. Don't forget to steal a shopping cart and wear 12 coats and a tin foil hat. Helps you find cans easier or something like that.

I feel like I need to say this about mowing yards. Push mowers take a gas mixture for 2 stroke engines and not regular gas. You'll lock the thing up if you dont do that. Patently advice.

You can call you local township/borough office and ask if they have a helper list for elderly/handicapped people to contact if they need help.

When I was younger I was on the list and I got a ton of calls every time it snowed. I didn't even have to ask around, the people just called me.

Ask for a "Grant" for ahhh....ummm... transformers research? If you word it right who knows. I've seen grants given for all kinds of crazy things.

I've started converting the points for Amazon gift cards instead of cash. I got Deluxe DOTM Prime that way.

I have a job but my wife takes all my money. Get a small fund started start buying junk lots and fix them keep what you want and sell what you need Ive been doing it for quite sometime and I turned about a 200 dollar investment into a 5000 dollar collection but you got be smart and get lots cheap.
