Why is everyone assuming that these codes are all going to be for downloadable characters. Does anyone remember the "pre-order bonus" for the last game, that was unlocked easily by codes that were online within a couple hours. Everything I've read has said unlockable characters. Or has it been announced somewhere that I missed that they were going to be download codes?

If someone wants to try my shockwave code to confirm my theory about the codes all working, or if someone else has tried it with the same code someone else has already used and it works, let me know. I just want to know if it is possible to use an already used code to unlock the characters, since they are already on the disc.

It won't. The codes are unique, and they can only be used once. Inputting it into the Code redemption site sends you a PSN voucher (At least it did for me, my code was specifically tailored to Shockwave on the PS3 version), you input that into your PSN profile, and it's unusable afterwords.

Same for the 360, you have to go to the site, register and put in the 16 digit gamestop code, the site then generates a 20 character xbl code. all in all it seems a pretty round about way of doing it.

I understand how it works, I just wasn't sure if it was for certain that those codes it gives you are 100 percent unique.

Do you guys know how to redeem the code that you get after you redeem the original code at the tf game website,that gives you the token

If you're on PSN, go under "Account Information" and input it at "Redeem Codes." I'm not 100% sure if this is correct, but I'm still pretty sure.

If you're on 360, sorry, can't help you. Just wait a little longer for someone to explain it for that.

For 360, you redeem it like you would redeem a code for Microsoft Points or for a Gold Subscription. Just hit the big green X on your controller (I don't know what else to call that button lol), scroll all the way to the left, and go to "Redeem Code" and just type it in.
