I think the title is pretty straight forward, does anybody know? I was doing research on the subject and read that it can be removed with a mild soap and warm water. Has anybody tried this and what were the results?

Deep down, it's simple really. The Pretender Shells of both the Pretender Monsters and the Kyoryu Sentai (Dinoforce) are made of a certain type of rubber or latex instead of plastic and thus degrade a lot faster. The exact effects are unclear though.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Strangely enough, though Scowl and Wildfly both have "measles" (discolored splotches), and Bristleback and Slog both have bad cases of GPS, none of their shells are sticky.

You don't find many Wildflys anymore that don't have the pink splotches. That might as well be his official color scheme, purple with pink dots. None of my other shells have any discoloring, but they all have varying degrees of stickiness.
