I have a healthy Star Wars collection going aaaaaalllll the way back to 1977, though I really don't buy a lot of SW stuff any more. I have a display "wall" made entirely from K'Nex for the carded figures that is pretty sweet.
My main collection is 6" scale superheroes mainly Marvel legends. Though with that line dying off and being replaced with the 3 3/4" line, TFs are becoming my primary collection.
I still get anything released for ML, like the recent 2-packs and the occasional DC figure.
I've kept away from GI Joe through sheer willpower. While I have broken down and bought some of my favorite characters, I've avoided getting really into this line.
I also have a pretty healthy DVD collection (over 1000 DVDs) split about 1/2 anime/toon and 1/2 live action. Though since we got netflix, I buy a LOT fewer DVDs.

Re: What else do you collect?
The house is a museum, when people come to see em...
What don't we collect?
Besides Transformers. I collect Coca-Cola, I keep it in my kitchen and adjoining hallway of the house.
Downstairs, is my partner's Star War's collection, our Warner Bro's store Daffy Duck display with our collection of Tasmanian Devil figures. We also have his chess set collection and the "Space vehicles / Star Wars / Star Trek" lighted ornaments from Hallmark. His Hallmark train collection is also down there...
While on the topic of Ornaments, we collect Hallmark, (we've already blown $300 on this year's ornaments and they all aren't out yet) Vintage Christmas ornaments, and naturally, Coca-Cola.(enough to have 4 separate trees) We also have a collection of Halloween and Christmas blow molds (the light up pumpkins, Santas, etc...) Not to mention his collection of Nativity scenes, and other Religious figures. Raylight wind-up / light up churches from the 1950's Our collection of Christmas and Halloween stuff takes up a large space in both the basement and attic. (A complete Christmas and Halloween village too)
I won't even go into the movies and TV shows we have on DVD, or the autographed Anne Rice novels...
Here are a couple of shots.

I have other pictures if anyone wants to see them.

I've been collecting things my entire life. Rocks, sea-stones, seashells, shark's teeth, vinyl records, comics (mostly X-Men and its spin-offs), comic-character trading cards, certain hallmark ornaments, Santa with Coke items, etc.
Action figures have always been the priority, though. I lost count years ago. I still have everything I had as a kid, including TMNT, some of every line of Transformers, Ghostbusters, He-Man, G.I. Joe, Power Rangers, Thundercats, X-Men and Batman. DBZ, Gundam, and Star Wars came a bit later.
I'm seriously going to have to downsize soon.
Currently, I've had to narrow it down and focus on my must-haves: Marvel Legends, Lord of the Rings (Toy Biz) and Transformers.
As far as Transformers, I've narrowed it down to G1 related characters only.
