Please lets not discuss classics desired scale, This is a MP discussion thread.

Wouldn't be opposed to a 3rd party or HasTak MP Galvatron being a head taller than MP-09 and MP-10. Reasoning, it's the upgrade Megatron, so it should be taller than X-T Appollon and a rumored HasTak MP Smaller scale Megatron. Plus it would be kinda cool to have a MP Galvatron the same height as MP-22 and MP-24.

As a last resort, I'd be willing to settle for a 3rd party or HasTak MP Galvatron toy The same robot height as MP-09.

Don't want any MP Galvatron to be a head shorter or heads shorter than MP-09.

As far as design goes, I'd be up for buying that current IDW TF G-1 Galvatron late 2014 comics art design for a 3rd party MP Galvatron toy. For HasTak, Have to have a MP Galvatron that resembles the 1986 Cartoon designs.

I never see Galvy as being a big bot, so having him at the same height as MP22 makes no sense to me, so I expect him to be at least be the same height as Rodimus Prime.

Having no personal attachment to the character, I'll just wait for the official MP

This is the easiest answer of them all considering we have an MP Rodimus. WHy would Galvarton be much larger (or worse, smaller) than Roddy?

Agreed, he should stand eye to eye with Optimus.

That would put him a hair taller than Rodimus, which is fine.

Except MP-10 is a half of a head shorter than MP-09. So any MP Galvatron would need to be at least MP-09 Height.

I want him to be exactly 10.567 inches tall.

Ideally Galvatron should be MP-10 height. Regarding Rodimus's height, I think they really need to do an MP Hot Rod/Rodimus 2.0, although I for one would prefer it if they did the 2 versions separately, with Hot Rod being MP car sized (Sideswipe, Prowl and his moldmates, etc) whilst Rodimus Prime should be MP-10/Galvatron height. Having them as separate figures would not only allow for better height changing and for the colour change between Hot Rod and RP to be properly realized, but also should avoid having to pack the figure full of fragile hinges and breakable bits.

On a completely unrelated note, it would be cool if they did Galvatron in toy colours too.

Doing a Voyager-Ultra Scale MP Hotrod is something I'd also like to see happen from HasTak or a 3rd party.

Would also love it if a 3rd party company could build a Protector type trailer for Voyager-Ultra MP Hotrod that broke up into armor parts for the robot to wear. So that the combined Rodimus Prime forms in both modes could be MP Leader scale.

I'd need mine to be taller than a piece of string, but not as tall as a fish.

MP-9 sized, please. Makes the most sense to me.

I think a half head taller than MP-09 would be just about right for Galvatron. And he should be proportionate to MP-09 as well.

Nothing pissed me off more as a kid with these characters than having Magnus end up not being the leader instead we ended up with Rodimus who as a figure was about half the height of Galvatron.

I always wanted either a taller Rodimus or a smaller Galvatron.

Personally, I don't think we need a new Rodimus, but I do agree we need a scaled down HotRod to match the size of other MP cars. If they would just extrapolate the existing HotRod down to scale and then strengthen the weaknesses, that would be ideal. I look at MP-09 as just Rodimus, except for the face gimmick. The reason being, a Prime should be able to detach from his trailer without people saying "Wtf is that?" when they see the smaller alt mode. I always thought if RP detached from his trailer, he would just look like HotRod's alt mode, only bigger.

I agree with you on a toy accurate color scheme on Galvatron. It would give fans a choice and because some collectors collect everything, this would allow the company to reap extra use from the mold.

Well the reason we need a new Rodimus is less because of the (pretty decent) aesthetics or size and more because the Japanese version is reeeeeeaaaaally fragile and the Hasbro version has no trailer and has EXPLODING SHOULDERS.

Did Michaell Bay engineer this figure I wonder?

I would like a new rodimus prime as he doesnt scale right imo

Like Two different MP toys for this character. With a less complicated Transformation and more durable stronger less fragile parts.

One, MP toy for Hotrod that is voyager scale and matches the size of the current MP TF cars-bots. Thinking later on a 3rd party company can step in and created a FP styled armor trailer to turn the toy into a Ultra-Leader scale Rodimus Prime in both modes.

2nd, MP TF toy just for Rodimus Prime. That is less fragile and less thin than the MP-09 toy was. Envision a thick plastic, Bulky toy like MP-08 was. Want it to be a huge one piece truck bot that transforms into a big robot mode like mp-22 does and Titanium 6 Rodimus Prime does.

I'd prefer an MP Galvatron to be eye to eye with MP10. Galvatron may have been an upgraded (or rather, reformatted) Megatron, but Galvatron was the same height as Megatron, and Megatron was the same height as Prime. I don't see why that height would be undesirable - at least for me, the trope of characterizing the challenge of the protagonists by the over-sized nature of the antagonists has grown tiresome. Galvatron doesn't have to be over-sized to be threatening.

Making an MP Galvatron eye to eye with Prime would place him just a tad larger than Soundwave and the Seekers to assert his dominance over the Decepticons, but would also properly place him as a suitable adversary for his Autobot opponents. (In my opinion.)

Besides, putting Galvatron at MP10's height means he'll be about the same height as MP09, too:

At the very least I need a MP Galvatron and MP-09 to be the same robot height. Would love it if MP Galvatron was a Half of a head or Head taller than MP-09. Because I feel Megatron was taller than Prime in the G-1 cartoon. So Galvatron should be slightly taller than Rodimus Prime.

Just cuz you feel it, don't make it so.

Perhaps a simple fix solution would be for Takara or a 3rd party to make a MP Galvatron MP-09 robot height. Then include One inch height boots to make others who want it to be slightly taller happy.
