What TFs item holds sentimental value to you?
- Motto: ""No one escapes Defcon. No one.""

This could be anything Tfs related posters, toys, clothes, sleeping bags anything. Mine would have to be a few figures that i managed to keep from my original collection from my childhood. They are Freeway, Goldbug, and a Micromasters set. I gave every one of my Tfs away when i was entering highschool. I felt i was getting too old and thought some less fortunate kid would want them. I'm glad i forgot those ones and still have an original part of my childhood Tfs experience.
Well everyone how about it. What means something to you?

Re: What TFs item holds sentimental value to you?
I'm going with the ones I had since I was a kid too.
I have Omnicon Overdrive with no weapons, and a stab ho;e in his windsheild, but he's one of my tops. The same would go for my Jetfire too. I have a nice clean one now, but the beat up one with the missing canopy and otherwise alright body is a favorite.
Huffer is in the line up to. Even though my brother got him, he was the first Transformer ever to enter my house, I still have it. BumbleBee was my first TF, and to this day I still love that origional mold.
I'll wrap this up with Metroplex. I had him as a kid and loved him, but my brother snapped him in half. I have 2 of him now, and each time I pick one up, I go right back to being 11

Re: What TFs item holds sentimental value to you?
The right arm and (beaten up) trailer of G1 Optimus Prime.
I got the whole figure as a kid from my cousin in ok condition. Then as 5 year olds do, smashing came and now all I can find is the arm and trailer, and I've seen Roller somewhere in a huge box of cars, but he's not really worth looking for until I find the body of Prime.
Other than that maybe BW Dinobot, the first transformer I bought with my own money ^^ I've always loved him.

Re: What TFs item holds sentimental value to you?
I only had a handful of original G1 toys when they first came out mostly the seeker jets and a couple of constructicons but they were lost over time so the sentimental factor for me was in my memories of those few that I had but more so watching the original G1 show.
In short all of my G1 items hold equal sentimental value to me.
I tried getting into the other shows but it just wasn't the same, maybe someday I will but I lost interest a little after G1 was over but it was always in the back of my mind but obscure little quotes or references from G1 would make it into my lingo that I'd say to people and they'd be like "huh?"...anyway, for sentimental reasons my current collection which I've been amassing for the last four and a half years brings back the memories and keeps the sentimental factor going as 95% of it is G1.
Transformers has been an obsession for me ever since it came out but at least it's a healthier one than most.

oh wow! That is a bunch for me, really, since a lot of my TFs have personal back-stories behind their aquistition! I sold a great deal of my old G1 collection quite some years back, but the ones I kept have some serious sentimental value to me.....
...My G1 Cyclonus, since that toy never left my side when I was locked up for 2 years in the hospital....My G1 Skywarp, since it was the first TF I paid hard-earned money for (and I think the best looking of the G1 Seekers)....My G1 Thundercracker (poor dear is in HORRIFIC shape...all covered in super-glue to fix the boy-child-induced damage), since it once belonged to my little brother, whom I miss dearly (he moved out of the state and don't see him but maybe twice a year if I am lucky)....and my G1 Menasor, because he was my favorite childhood gestalt (not anymore, but I keep him around as a reminder of the "good ole days")....all my G1 Cassetticons I kept because they are just neat, even to this day....My Lazerbeak, Buzzsaw and Ravage are my most favored..Lazerbeak has been replaced once, since my nephew thought it would be cool to break his Auntie's rules about getting into MY toy case and play with MY toys, rather than the buttzillions of ones I bought for him. He broke the poor mech's leg off...cost my brother a BUNCH of leg-work and money to replace him, so I keep him around as a reminder to my nephew to stay out of my toy-case!
Wow! That got a bit wordy!

hmmm....that depends on which area of my life one is talking about.
For instance, my G1 Skywarp is my first TF when I was a kid. The figure is still in my collection and is in very good shape. My Alt. Bluestreak is what got me back into collecting TF after a 21 year absence. This figure is custom-made. Then there is my Custom Alt/BT Prowl, which is my first repaint and was very successful.
my Bluestreak if you were curious enough to look at it.

Re: What TFs item holds sentimental value to you?
Had I still had my G1 Seeker I got for my 8th b day it would probably hold sentimental value but we left it at McDonald's after my b day party was over and I'm sure one of the kids there with me took it home.
My busted up G1 Hot Rod holds sentimental value, my friend gave it to me along with a G1 Soundwave but Hot Rod was my favorite TF from the movie and season 3, maybe one day I'll get him a gun, a new canopy and some fresh stickers and restore him.

TFs for trade, let me know if you have any of the ones I want or if you're interested in the ones I have.

I love your Bluestreak. Very nice!
The one TF I'm sentimental about would have to be Alt. Smokescreen. Like your Bluestreak, Alt. Smokey is the one that got me back into collecting after 17 years. I drive a Subaru Impreza, so when I saw that they made a TF out of my car, I just had to get him.
As for my G1s, Trailbreaker will always hold a special place in my heart since he was my very first TF back in '84.

I have a Transformers G1 Alladin thermos I got second hand recently. It wasn't mine as a kid, but I had many like it through the years, and this one is TF so it is relavant to me now.
I hear that weird *chug-chug-chug* sound it makes when I drink out of it and I'm a little girl again.
Plus, when Megs is sitting on my thermos reminding me to drink plenty of water throughout my work day, I can't turn him down.

Jazz and Bombshell.
One of those was my first TF, and the other was my second. However, over the years I lost track of which was which!

We are similar in some aspect...I drive a Subaru Outback. So, I had to get a model of a Subaru. Also, thanks....I wanted to repaint my Bluestreak to match his G1 colors as much as I can.

I'm a sucker for those random TF themed items! I can't wait for all the random TF: Animated stuff we'll probably get. Bathroom sets, dishes, clocks, luch packs, coloring books, the list in my imagination goes on and on...

I don't have the specific item anymore (lost it ages ago
) but every time I see an G1 Optimus that's a bit worse for wear it makes me smile. I grew up as a poor farm kid so I didn't have may toys and was pretty rough on the ones I did. Subsequently my prime only had one arm. My mom is a huge Optimus fan and whenever we would play together she would always be him and use a really cheezy hero voice when he talked. ^__^
