The only guaranteed ones I'll be getting right now are deluxe (Pre-terrocon) Cliffjumper (he'll be my first version of Cliffy),and deluxe Wheeljack (I hope he has mech tech sized hands to hold other weapons aside from his swords.)

My sentiments exactly. I don't care about the show, and I don't really like too many of the figures we've seen pictures of, but as a Starscream completionist, I must get him. If there's any other line of value going on, then Screamer is likely my only Prime purchase. If not, well, I'll be saving some money.

As with any line of TF's, I make it a point to purchase one of each new mold. If and only IF a repaint is particularly striking and or has a new head mold I will purchase those, but gratuitous boring repaints of the same character I will avoid.

One exception to this rule would be the Vehicon. When it comes to standard cannon fodder soldiery I always buy at least three, in some cases more, such as my seven GI Joe Sigma 6 Cobra Bat figures and 5 Iron Grenadiers (for lack of any Sigma 8 inch Cobra troopers).

I don't watch Prime for the most part. Well...i've watched a few shows and the only figures i'll possibly pick up would be Arcee , Breakdown, and Knockout (not too often you get a decepticon doctor/scientist).
As mentioned before though, if Classics starts up again then that will be my main focus over anything else.

What do you think: are we gonna get some Human Alliance bots too? Like Arcee with Jack, Bulkhead with Miko, Bumblebee with Rafael, Optimus with Fowler and maybe even Ratchet with June.

I'll get most the core cast and few of the side/one episode characters I think (wheeljack <3 )...minus Bee and Optimus. I already have the NYCC version of Bee and the SDCC version of OP. I'll still pick up the Arcee one though despite her being in the NYCC exclusive

I love her too much not too and, besides, Arcee's in her traditional pink colors in the NYCC version not the show's blue *cough*Chromia*cough* colors.

I'll be getting pretty much any figure of deluxe size or larger (not a fan of scout/Cyberverse), and will only pick up a smaller fig if it isn't available in a larger size class and is a character/figure that I really really like (Windcharger from RTS and Cyberverse Blackout come to mind as past small figs I've bought).

I'd imagine. They have the toy designs for the 3 main kids, might as well use them. The question really is, will they be jointed like the Alliance humans usually are. The 3D untextured models (and textured ones too for that matter) look identical to the ones we got in the NYCC exclusive - jointless plastic statues.

Most of them look pretty unappealing. Especially Skinnyscream. Wheeljack's toy looks good even though his character in the show is terrible and I'll get Knock-Out because I like him.

That said I already bought the SDCC and NYCC sets so clearly I'm just a pushover.

After becoming obsessed with Prime, I decided I'm going to try to get every Prime figure that there is made. Though, depending on how much they are and such; I may pass on the characters I can't stand or tolerate. Those are only a few though from Prime. But I just got my head start on buying the SDCC Prime figure and the NYCC Prime set, so I can't wait until the next ones comes out.

Ahh, I guess I should of been specific - I'm not interested in the Takara ones that much. Only the official Hasbro toys ^^;

Prime has grown on me a LOT over the past few months. I think everything from the toyline that I've seen so far looks good, and I want pretty much all of it. It looks SO much better than the DOTM stuff, for which I've mostly just been concentrating on Cyberverse. I can't wait until Prime comes out and we get some nice Deluxes and Voyagers out there!

EDIT: Like Ladybug, I meant just the Hasbro releases. Though I may import Takara's releases Vehicon grunts if they're different from the Hasbro versions and I can get them for a reasonable price, to speed up the army-building process without actually having multiples of the same identical figure.

I'm glad there is a few others like me who just want the Hasbro versions. But if Takara comes out with some of my absolute favorite sooner before Hasbro, and I have the money to get it if the figure looks good; then I may splurg on one or two to add to my tiny, tiny collection.

So far none of them have been a definite no, and Arcee, Voyager Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are all buy on sight. All of the others are definite possibilities.

Well for me, the Voyager Prime, Bumblebee, and Wheeljack for sure. I know this will seem nuts but if they make a "Nemesis Prime" I wouldnt even think twice.

After having recieved the NYCC set in the mail on Monday, I'm more imoressed by this toyline than ever. The movie and retro-g1 stuff has really just seems kinda bland by comparison.
