We have so much in common. You're one of the only other people I know who's first transformer was from the Cybertron line.

You two make me feel old.

I got my first transformer when I was about 7 months old. Believe it or not, I still clearly remember when I got it. I was given a white transforming car that had no accessories or anything to identify it. I played with hit happily for a long time and I still have actually.

I found out a few years ago that it was actually a Pretender Jazz toy.

I even rember my second and 3rd figure. which were Action Master Inferno and a broken G1 Scattershot. After that, it spiraled into the collection that you can see in my collection thread.

I'll be 21 this Sunday and have spent most of my life collecting. It's been fascinating to see the franchise change and evolve over time.

Wow, I feel really old now. Someone get me a cane and then get off my lawn!!!

I grew up with G1 and really don't remember which one I got first. Unfortunately, most of the ones I had growing up were sold by my mother and then I started collecting again when Beast Wars started and I got really into it and G1 again. I will say that the first BW toy I got was Dinobot before the show was made and I even remember thinking that the toy wasn't that good and it wasn't a "real TF" since it turned into an organic animal. Then the BW show started and Dinobot became my favorite BW character and in my top five favorites of all TFs.

SNARLER, back in '87? I was like 4 yrs old. Up until a few months ago I thought it was razorbeast, till I came across SARLER's bio and pic in some TRANSFORMERS DICTIONARY i have.

Mine is also from Cybertron. The first figure (well, the first real figure) I got was Vector Prime. Technically, the first TF I had was a Happy Meal toy of BM Tankor, but that doesn't count, at least not in my opinion.

I remembered those good old days! I believed my first Transformers were G1 Grimlock and Bumblebee when they first came out. I think my parents bought the Transformers toys for me and for my older brother at either Children's Palace or Toys R Us? Man, who remembers Children's Palace?

Jeez, such a long time ago now..... My dad bought me Dirge when coming back from a business trip, this would have been way back in 84 when I was 7. I remeber thinking he looked kinda funny because of his blue and brown colour scheme, always seemed odd to me. I never had Megatron as a kid as was very unhappy about this, the gun is still pretty hard to get over here in Australia but have more than one in my collection now, woop woop !!!

Every so often I played with my older brother's Beast Wars figures, but the first that I had as my own was, I think, BM Airraptor. Either that or Dinotron.

Recently I realized my first Transformer was Machine Wars Prowl! I didn't really know what the hell he was when my dad bought him for me...just that he was a cool race car that turned into a cool robot. It wasn't until recently that I remembered him and ID'd him as a legit TF.
The second one(s) I got were the adventure Mini-Con team (I think?) 3-pack from Armada that a friend bought me. I can't remember their names but they're a green off-road truck, a red snow-cat type vehicle, and a sand-coloured dune buggy with a turret.
But the first Transformer I ever bought myself was none other than Armada Supercon Optimus Prime.
I bought a few here and there until going crazy on TFs late last year.
(And if you guys want to know I am able to remember nearly every single TF I've ever bought/received in order)

hmm my very first one...this is tough it was so long ago. I remember i had Ultra magnus, powermaster prime, abominus, computron, piranacon...hmmmi guess going by tv show time lines Ultra magnus would have been my first. Though im sure i had some thing before that...oh well.

Since I got into collecting them again as an adult my frist was Drift, and Im now at 36 of them in under a year lol.

G1 Outback.

Got him September 86 around the time I started collecting the UK comic. Started with Target 2006 in issue 79. Was delighted to see Outback in issues 98 and 99 even if he was helping the hated Optimus Prime. Nearly got himself killed doing it. Another reason to despise Optimus. Gets himself killed by Megatron and poor Hot Rod gets the blame despite trying to help him. Goes on to constantly thwart Megatron. Slaggin' Prime jips all my favourite Transformers.
