Only for Hoist really. I dislike that original bee and I just got the cannon Bee which is very similar to that cliffjumper. And I dont care for those little static chibi figures.

Found some more stuff which I didnt know existed.





Those are like simpler Optimus and Ratchet toys from the movies but I dont know which movie or what they do.

Those baggies make them look like serial killer victims.

Ok, so Cobotron and Cary and some others asked to see me document Poutine Week. I am from Quebec, a place with a totally different culture, language and laws, that is not that far from you fellow Americans. Part of it's culture is a food called poutine; it is made of fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy (kind of like KFC gravey, not steak sauce).

Now we have a week dedicated to this food where different restaurants all over the city have their special and you then vote on your favourite. I will document it here, just consider it a food stop on my hunt.

So the place I went to is ART BRGR, my favourite burger joint in the city. Very minimal in decoration, its all about the food (including the engravings on the wall):





And here is their Poutine:



Ok so along with the fries, cheese curds and gravey, they also have ham, baked beans, an egg, bacon, sausages and vodka (in the shooter glass).

I started dumping the baked beans and mixing it:



Halfway through, I drank the shooter:



And then I finished it!



Ok one poutine down, I will probably try another before the end of the week!

That looks really good, and not that good for you, so you know it tastes good!! I love some local slop. Especially with an egg thrown on top.

So what is the vodka for? You shoot it half way through to numb the pain of finishing that heart attack mountain?

Yes Poo teen. And this is called the hangover poutine so I guess the vodka is to be taken before to then have the grease suck up the alcohol.

Ok, so I had another poutine (Poo Teen) today during my hunt. It was Bisque flavoured, qith actual lobster pieces.



My wife was with me and tried one too but she didnt like it.

So I finished hers as well



Then I went to Toysrus and the transformers section was PACKED! With toys I mean.
Take a look!







There were 9 G2 Superions! Each row is 3 boxes deep.



They did have what I wanted though, which is those new RID battle packs. And there were no specials for me to get rainchecks for. But I was glad to see it so filled up.

Oh man, what a hunt today!

It was retro con a place to buy TFs (and other toys) and the prices were so good, I felt like rebuying toys I already had just because I didnt want to miss out on such good deals. But I got lost getting there, so as I was wandering I decided to take some pics of this grittier side of downtown Montreal:

Anyways, I got there and there were a bunch of tables but sadly, no Animated wreckgar/swindle or any beast machines, or Cybertron Crosswise/Brimstone which were the main toys I was looking for.

Instead there was all this:



You cant see it well but that's Cybertron Sideways for 5$,,, 5 freaken dollars....CANADIAN!



So many animated toys, it was like walking into a store in 2008, and at the same retail price too







There were also some people doing Star Wars Dioramas



More toys (this was all junkars)



G2 Onslaught for 5$ was tempting

That looks like a fun outing. Or, hunt I should say.
Great haul! all that animated stuff looks like a ton of fun.

And now I know why you asked what you asked. You have Ratchet too don't you?

Ok, I found these in the local adds. The person is asking 10$ each, will go check em out and see what I bring back.

I wont, I already have it. You really think that voyager mold is junk though? I found it better than the leader. At least it didnt have partsforming in dino mode and his feet and hands were better hidden. Oh and it has that choping gimick that all good dinos should have

The T-Rex mode looked stubby and weird, the dino feet on the robot mode arms looked bad, and the elbows only went side to side.

Yeah, the elbows suck! But I dont see the rest of the faults you do. He scales well with the other dinobots too.

Ok so for this treck, I had to get out of the island and into the southern suburbs, where I dont ever go.

Whats funny is that I went to my local thrift store to see if they had any tfs and they had another predaking who had definitely seen better days

This was clearly a fluke. Someone had a collection and gave it away and it reached this thrift shop. There was also an IDW Drift and First Edition Cliffjumper but they were missing limbs.

Found Gen Dirge at the Thrift shop, I was looking for this guy for a while but he was never at any toy shows. I would have gladly bought him for 15-20 bucks loose, but this is far more fun!

Wow, you have some fun up there! I have within 5 min from me a goodwill, kids consignment store, TJ Maxx, Tuesday Morning, Burkes, 5 Below, and Target. Pickins' have been so slow lately - and have never found anything good at goodwill or the kids thrift store. But I still fondly remember finding Animated Swindle at Walgreens (16.99 but glad I bought him!), NEST Lockdown at Tuesday morning (5.99!), and generations wheeljack at Target on clearance ($3.50!!).

There was a really nice sentinel Prime, though I already have him and they werent "giving" him away, so I transformed him to make him more marketable.
