Well...

1. I don't exactly hate him but when I first saw him... damn, he's small! And in Singapore Voyager prices up in price for by almost 10% from the ROTF ones. Something about his chest seems... underwhelming somehow.

2. Articulation: now this is the only reason I'm considering getting him. Firstly, he sure looks good to pose. I loved Leader Sentinel Prime's alt mode and transformation process, but making a robot stand still with arms by the side just doesn't do it for me. If you have the first movie Prime, he was kibbly but pretty rock solid to pose dynamically! Voyager Prime DOTM looks like he can do it pose-wise...and he has that all important waist swivel which adds up to even more dynamic poses.

3. No, no more completist mentality for me! I used to when I first went back to Transformers when the first movie came out, then it just got too many in a limited room. Then I got into other TF lines, other toys etc. But really, DOTM has really made it easy for me to save money and break any completist remnants, because of their size, and ugly just the look on some of them.

I just buy the best that I can, and to me so far that's been ROTF Leader Prime. Unless they outdo that, I will probably save money. Although I'm considering Voyager Prime now just based on the possibilities pose-wise. I would be interested to view the reviews when Ultimate Prime comes out.

I'll take Door #4: DOTM Deluxe Prime.

It's the only version of DOTM Prime that I like, and in a price range I can more easily afford.

I already have the regular DOTM version shipped. planning to get the takara trailer one this week, just for vehicle mode. and might eventually get some incarnation of jet optimus eventually

I am not buying any more Movie Primes. I have the Target Voyager from the first movie and Leader from ROTF. That is enough for me.

I am not a fan of the 6-pack-abs Prime look anyway.

I bought Prime because, Im buying almost every figure in this line. As I am still on the hunt on completing my Wave 1 collection (all I need is Ironhide, Roadbuster, and optionally Skids).

The articulation is great. I wish he had more up and down arm movement but oh well. His Mech Tech Weapon keeps freezing up on me. I think I broke it when I used the "Try It" hole. :oops:

His alt mode is seemingly crap to some people. I'm ok with it. I made it work. For me the sides to click in as well. So the smokestacks look out of line. I just fold those back more. To hide all the robotness in the back of the cab, I put the Mech Tech gun there (obviously, why not?).

Overall I like this figure.

Now. I think I actually will buy te Axe Prime. The Axe will look cool in the first prime's hands. Plus he can be like an Optimus Prime filled with Dark Energon or something

I defenetly WILL buy Ultimate Prime, that's spoken without words.

So it will be Prime, Prime, AND Prime

well ill deffinatly not be getting that prime. i really wanted the jet prime but cant see paying that much for him. ill try and get the ultimate prime. for me i just think prime needs a trailer. the fact that he combines with it is just an added bonus for me.

So out of the up coming Primes weather you got the first DOTM Prime or not how will you choose? Will you get Voyager Prime with dark colors and battle axe? Will it be Takara Voyager Prime with new gun and trailer? How about Wingblade (is that name right?) OP or will it be Ultimate OP with merging trailer? That Ultimate Prime looks too top heavy to me and if I want top heavy I got my Omega Prime which is a fav of mine.

I passed on this because his paint apps are terrible. And I not that much of a prime fanatic
