I do have more optimus's then what are on this shelf but these are ones that wanted for my optimus collection.
all the other ones like RID and the movie and all the others are with what ever series they belong to.

That's a pretty sweet collection, dougie_prime. Looks like how mine was the few years I started collecting back in 2000-2002. I love the little Movie cake topper on the right. My youngest nephew gave me his off of his cake 2 birthdays ago so he could "be with the rest." Too adorable.

I have all the Primals and BW Megatrons in storage awaiting more shelf space. I'm looking into this one but I'm waiting until I actually go to Ikea to see it in person. I actually have the whole thing mapped out already as to which character or series gets which shelf. Things going to be packed!

My main display right now is on a 6'x4' heavy cider bookcase I've had since 1986 and a 4'x3' secondary bookcase in the living room with my "god shelf," Classics Autobots, Classics Decepticons and Animated on it (no pics because the wifes cats always knock everything down) so a 15" across display just wouldn't cut it. Thank's though!

Rotf Optimus is the ****. When I get Buster Prime and Jetfire I will be a clam.

Least favorite....

Armada. Despite having lots of options and the transforming trailer. He is to blocky and he is small in one form and doesnt look like Prime in the other. RID is a close second for the same reasons except he wasnt blocky so is better toy wise, and the Omega Prime idea is better than the jetfire one IMO.

nice! i use the same shelf to display my toys. i currently have two of the black-brown ones, and im looking into a third, but i dont know where i'll put it

zodconvoy i have the4 same problem but its not the cats that knock everything down.
its the pet raccoon that dose. and he likes to pull the arms off LOL
i got lucky because our house has one room upstairs thats to small for really anything so the wife called it the TRANSFORMERS ROOM.
so its a room full of shelves and just transformers and a few gobots

My fav are:
1) MP-04
2) RID fire convoy
3) rotf prime
4) galaxy force prime
5) alternity prime (black)

The one I hate:
usually I don't buy what I don't like, but I do agree That the alternator prime is real frustrating to transform back to truck mode. As the front bumper parts usually won't clip properly

the one that i do like alot is the cybertron optimus.
and i have one of the Galaxy Force Optimus Prime but missing gun and the wings that fold into the fire truck.

My Favorites are ROTF Leader, Masterpiece Prime, RID, and whatever Prime Mold they used for Scourge (even though I don't have that Prime). Oh and the 2007 Movie Leader is cool too. Truck sounds FTW..

Least favourite: Energon cos of his stupid big fat belly and lack of articulation.

Favourite: THS-02 cos he looks so much like G1 Prime and is one of the most poseable TFs of all time. Just wish he was a bit bigger.

Toy-wise
Favorite: Super Class Fire Convoy

Least: Legends TFTM Prime

Character-wise
Favorite: Optimus Primal

Least: Unicron Trilogy Prime

They used G2 Laser Rod Optimus Prime

Prime's version had electronics in it I think.

Worst: probably Animated Rollout Command Optimus Prime. I don't have it, but it looks like one of the dumbest figs I've ever seen.

Not to discount your opinion, but I really like Roll-out Command Optimus. I thought he looked stupid too, until I found him for cheap and bought him. He looks great in display, and he's pretty durable too.

Watching a review of him was one of the most ridiculous things I've seen related to TFs. The spinny transformation looks meant for a 4 year old. To be fair, I'm not at all a fan of Animated to begin with, but ROCOP takes 1st place in the lame-o department IMO.

Well Roll-Out Command Optimus Prime is made and intended for 4 year olds, thus the only thing unique about him is the auto-transformation type of gimmick.

Except I happen to think how huge he is, which looks great standing next to other figures in display, is pretty unique. The next closest size Animated Prime is the Voyager.

Not sure where to post this, but wanted to share it...and it was related to a Prime figure on eBay so I guess here's as good a place as any. All I can say is WTF?

The figure is collector-owned and has been on display. It is in great shape and was not transformed from truck to robot.

Figure has minimal wear - wear associated with transformation and display.

Ugh...if it wasn't transformed, then how the hell does it have minimal wear associated with transformation? I never believe when people say the figure has never been transformed if it's not MISB, but this knob couldn't even keep his story straight for 30 seconds...

I not bagging on the figure, I find him kinda fun sometimes, but his large size is both his advantage and disadvantage. His large size is hard to find a space for him in the display shelf.

Ohhhh let me think!! My top 3 are God Ginrai Prime, his weopans are totally sick!! Henkei Prime and lastly Fire Convoy. Henkei Prime for just total tribute to G1 and Fire Convoy is awesome in looks and posability. I especially dig him in first robot mode (you know what I mean) with his arsenal mounted over his shoulders...damn cool!!

And my least fav is a tie between Machine Wars Prime and Armada Prime...they just are 'nuff said!!

One repaint that really blew my mind was Fire Guts God Ginrai, especially with the red gold metallic chest armor.

I am shocked, SHOCKED by the total lack of love for G2 Laser Prime. It probably has the best trailer/base of all time and Prime himself sports great engineering for his time. I can see this toy not making Top 5 lists, but Top 10s? CRIMINAL!
