Checked one last time today at my target. They've prepped the shelves for Dotm (they don't have it up yet though, just empty pegs), and have absolutely NOTHING space-wise reserved for RtS. The 5 or so Skullgrins are up on the one Generations row though. This is disappointing. I need to find Lugnut and Warpath ASAP then, considering I doubt they or anything else will be here anytime soon (they haven't gotten any restocked generations on the shelves since about two months ago)...


Also, I found something out about the way we restock recently (at target).
We (the store[s]) do not even know what's coming in the trucks when we get shipments. Apparently someone in logistics or corporate or whatever decides what to restock us on, and when (I imagine a good portion of it is computerized too, to "assist" in the huge amounts of stock changes that would occur every day).
Rather depressing.
I'm trying to find out too, if there's any way to "request" certain stock come in to your store. I'll post if I get anything useful... :[

I was at the local Target a couple days ago. They had some of those hard-to-find action figures on clearance. Yes, on clearance!!

I honestly believe Hasbro made these figures hard to find with the intention of bumping up the price tags to 2 or 3 times their retail value.

So I was wondering....

Have we heard any reply from Hasbro on this issue?

Stating the obvious, I think this really sucks alot.

The DOTM figures are starting to come out and still no sign of Wreck Gar, Warpath, Perceptor, Grapple, Wheeljack and Thundercracker. I actually had to pick TC and WJ at my comic book store. I asked how they were able to pick them up when stores didn't have them. They said they've been trying to keep them in stock but the distributor is having issues as well so it looks like short supply on Hasbro's end.

I fear that I may not be able to add a Wreckgar or Perceptor to my collection as they are hugely expensive on the aftermarket. Totally sucks...

The after/secondary Market value of their products is of no interest to Hasbro, they want stock on shelves, shifting.

Exciting news guys. I stopped at a Walmart last night to pick up some painting supplies and stumbled upon an endcap FILLED with Generations toys!

The action figure aisles and end caps where you would normally spot Transformers were filled to the brim with DOTM toys. This end cap was near the Dolls and bikes and honestly looked like overflow.

I talked with a stock person and they mentioned that they put all of the transformers out a few days ago. My only thoughts to this would be that somewhere along the line, stores have been holding onto Generations product, assuming that it too had the May 15th street date that DOTM had.

Get out there and start looking, look ANYWHERE that there might be overflow for toys as well!

Hey guys, a bit more info for you. After leaving my office's annual retreat I stopped by a nearby Walmart to find x3 each of Warpath, Wheeljack, Scourge and Thundercracker. As dumb luck would have it, I discovered that one of my students has been working at this particular Walmart as a stocker.

I stopped to chat and he confirmed my theory that (at least in our district I'd assume) all Walmarts were told by the district manager not to put out any Transformers stock (as well as other movie tie in toys) prior to their respective release dates.

It seems that these Generations toys were simply lumped into the pile with other Transformers toys! I hope this helps all of you. Still no luck on Windcharger or Frenzy/Rumble, but at least I didn't drop $50+ on Warpath online!

Perhaps someone could notify a mod and see if we can push this info up to the front page if we can get it verified in other areas. I'm in Southeast Louisiana.

you can also ask members to get one for you!!! the guy La said he saw 3x warpath to.... asking him to get one for you and buy it from him. peceptor is still in my area, how much r you trying to pay for him cause i could go get one and sell it to you. the price i pay plus shipping! but the play where he is in stock it cost 17.99 me plus tax. y foes he cost this much???? i dont know but he is at my local drug stores in Va.

Speaking of this issue, can anyone provide the UPCs and/or DPCIs for the recent/wanted figures so I can try and figure out the deal with Target?

I'm afraid the Walmarts at Walmart HQ just put old stuff/rotf/hftd on clearance, and same old Generations up on the shelf. Nothing new in my area besides DotM at Target. :/

well i'll have to check tomorrow and see. as a heads up check your local neigborhood drug stores because u might save money on shipping and actually find them in your area!!!! i'll let you know tomorrow if it is still there. if i get this figure for you from my local drug store i know it going to cost $17.99+tax+shipping+ebay fees( could be like 90 cents to about 3 dollars). so you may want to look first in ur area because at max it could be a little less than thirty dollars for it. In my area i got walgreens, rite aid and cvs parmacy. to be honest with you i have seen this item in a few spots in my area!!!! i found him at rite aids, walmart neigborhood market and toyrus. then if you can find it, ill get him but i dont want to be stuck with this figure! i dont want him because i like the tru reissued perceptor better. so let me know if your still interested

yeah sorry, i know there is a peceptor at my local rite aid but they sell there tfs for 17.99 (this is cvs price 2)!!! i think walgreens price is 13.99? you just got check stores. my drug stores have all the reveal the shield deluxes. so once a again. i will buy it and trade it to u if you got a classic mirage unopen??

In my area the last new line that hit any shelves was the G2 Prime wave,And no store has put ANY new voyager class out. Where are they? I kind of do want Strfe and Deep Dive, just to add to my collection. Has anyone seen these guys in there stores?
