So who exactly is the half-ton guardian force, if you don't mind me asking? I imagine head-canon, but I love the idea if you don't mind sharing. One of mine is actually a winged cat also

The half-ton Guardian Force is my OC Sheba, who has magical powers (resulting from experiments carried out by Mara Al-Utha before he was banished to Melonia - reference: the G1 S3 episode "Madman's Paradise"). She can shift between an organic and robotic forms, and the robotic form has a jet mode. Heh, I actually thought of a flying puma transformer before Hasbro brought out Quickswitch. She functions as Starscream's Guardian (because BAD things happen when Starscream dies!)

That's really cool XD So, she's sort of like an animal pretender? Does she have a robot mode, also? Who does she answer to (Megatron or Starscream)? I love a good head canon
Thank you very much for sharing! Will keep an eye out for more (I'm a sucker for winged cats

She's not really a pretender, as it's not a robot within an organic shell; it's a molecular metamorphosis instead. It's closer to how Japanese Godmasters work than Pretenders. Like Ravage or Laserbeak, her robot mode is her beast mode; though she can shift between being upright or going on all fours quite easily.
She doesn't answer to Megatron; heck, she doesn't even answer to Starscream, either. Because duh, cat.
My user avatar is Sheba in robot mode.

Ah, gotcha!
I noticed the avatar =D Very nice color choices. Do you draw her in her jet mode often?

Ah, gotcha! That makes sense! Also...cat. Touche!
I remembered you had another picture where she was attacking Galvatron with the caption "Get him Sheba!". I wasn't sure if that was you cheering her on or someone giving orders. After reading her function, I wondered who's voice to imagine yelling that XD

The "Get him, Sheba!" is actually a reference to a clip from the Simpsons episode "Homer Vs. Dignity" so actually it would be Homer Simpson saying that.

I don't draw her jet mode often (or her robotic form very often either), due to almost constant exhaustion. It's easier to do her organic form.

Ah, I see. Definitely understandable. I mean, channeling geometry for hours upon hours of your spare time gets exhausting in it's own right, not to mention life exhaustion. Judging by your avatar, I can imagine the jet mode looks pretty awesome XD

Wingz wrote:Have you thought about coloring them digitally? Legitimately curious, because I used to have the same problem with my colored pencils. Sort of miss coloring that waybut you get a lot more colors digitally, so I switched it up when I picked my art back up (though I'm still very much learning how).

I sometimes color things digitally, but it's painstaking to do that with scanned images even if they're in black-and-white.
