Okay I'm in a little dilemma here. I have Soundwave and I want to get a version of Ravage to go with him. However, I can't decide which one to get. Should I get:
ROTF Ravage- The original release
HFTD Sea Attack Ravage- The new redeco
HFTD Ravage- The TRU 3-pack Rampage Among the Ruins version

That depends on what you want in a toy. Show-accuracy, or just a cool deco? Currently Sea Attack Ravage should still be in stores, his deco is based on his appearance in Diego Garcia. If you mind dirt, yet another Bumblebee and a red Rampage, you could wait for that 3-pack.
btw Ever considered the Legends version? Scale is better, so is the deco (or lack thereof) and he's cute to boot!

I gotta throw my vote in for Legends Ravage. I just got mine yesterday and he's great. His alt-mode is better than the 'scared kitty' of the deluxes, and his size is a little more in scale with Soundwave.

I should've specified deluxe class, but maybe I should look into the legends. However, the legend is only to scale to Soundwave, and Soundwave is waaaay out of scale to the rest of the line. Sea Attack Ravage is currently attacking the pegs in my area, and he has more silver like the movie character. And I could have 100 movie Bumblebees and not care at all, plus the Bee in the pack actually has an interior with transparent windows. The red colored Rampage is also a plus.

Not really. According to both my wife(USAF LT satellite operator) and some of her friends(one of whom is a 4th Space Operations Crew Commander, whose satellite Soundwave attached to in ROTF), the average communications satellite is only about the size of a car/sedan(slightly smaller, actually).

Didn't know that. I expected he would be bigger. But considiring Ravage's size in the movie compared to most (not all, ex. Grindor/Blackout), legends Ravage is still out of scale.

I'm gonna go with Legends Ravage as well, he looks better/more accurate, is better scaled (as the "to scale" argument has already been done) has a better alt-mode and as previously mentioned, is friggin' adorable.

QFT.
Probably the single best reason to get Legends Ravage.
Also, he looks good in Battle Blades BB's hands.

I bought Recon Ravage while he was on sale. I like the shiny.
I also got Legends Ravage. He's definately full of win, but sadly he isn't as good as he could've been since they didn't ass as many joints as they could have.

I have the original Deluxe Class and the Legends Class ROTF Ravage.....and I find that the Legends Class version is FAR superior to the Deluxe Class for a few reasons.
1: He's in scale with ROTF Soundwave (which I surprisingly like...a LOT)
2: His alt mode is better than the Deluxe Class versions (less like a spiky turd)
3: He's so effin' CUTE!
Go with the itty bitty kitteh if you must have ROTF Ravage.

Do you mean Sea Attack Ravage? Becuase Recon was a NEST series limited edition mail-in order figure.

I should have specified: Which DELUXE class Ravage should I get? Let's take legends class out of the equation. If you don't like the deluxe, then don't tell me that. I want to know what DELUXE class Ravage you would recommend to me.
And yes I will go buy the legends class figure sometime soon.

Oh didn't know that. I think he's shown up in New York City, also. Of course Hasbro has to screw the US out of getting stuff easy.

Personally, I like the colours of the original deluxe ravage the best. So if you're set on a deluxe, that's the one I'd recommend.
One last comment from me about the legends class fig: I think he is far more in-scale to deluxes than the deluxe ravage, because if you remember, BB picked ravage up and "skinned the cat", which would have been quite difficult if he had been the scale of the deluxe fig...

Normally it's the other way around, the US usually gets everything, and Canada & the UK get screwed.
