Which Sentinel Prime to buy?
Okay- I have a bit of a dilemma. Went to the store the other night and found Voyager Sentinel Prime. I went head and bought it as I hadn't seen it any where before and it was only one of two they had. Unfortunately I have been extremely busy witand have not gotten a chance to open it yet. I have however been forced to go back to the store multiple times since then and I am increasingly drawn to Leader Sentinel. Especially right now while he's only $35. If I buy the Leader I will most definitely exchange the Voyager being that I don't have tons of money. What should I do? Is Voyager Sentinel Prime better or Leader? I'm not really concerned with scale but I do like the fact that Voyager fits right in with my Megs, Shockwave, and Voyager battle hooks Optimus. But I am also a collector first and Leader seems more in line with that train of thought. Could someone talk some sense into me and help me out?

The Leader blow the voyager class away.

The Leader for sure. I feel proportions wise it's much better, and the transformation is really cool just like ROTF Prime. And those two belong in the same display for sure!

Re: Which Sentinel Prime to buy?
I've got both voyager and leader, each has some features the other doesn't that Hasbro should have combined into one figure. Leader has the size, shield, blade, and captures the on-screen look. Voyager on the other hand has the acid rust cannon (that most likely will wind up on my Leader), 100% accurate chest, but does have half a fire truck hanging off his back. I definitely like voyager's face since it has the gray plastic and metallic paint, gives him a more sinister look especially with white light-piped eyes. Voyager is a lot easier to stand, has more solid feet. I haven't attempted to transform either, time is a pleasure somedays.
I will display one with ROTF Leader OP and the other with my DOTM voyagers to create some battle scenes. Or maybe leader SP will be displayed with Ironhide, Skids, Mudflap and the rest of the Autobots from NEST HQ.

Get the Leader. You can pick him up for $34.99 at Target.

Well, I *was* going to buy the Leader class version but he's such an arrogant piece of **** in the movie I honestly can't justify spending the money on him...
...oh, who am I kidding? Of course I'm buying the Leader class version, and probably any other version I can find. To be honest with you, I've seen Transformers 3 several times since it came out and each time I get more pissed off at Sentinel's character. ON the other hand, he just looks effing sweet in the movie and from what I've seen on Youtube his toys are equally sweet looking.

That is actually an excellent point I forgot to mention. I love dynamic poses for my figures, especially if they are on display. Leader Sentinel has one major gripe for me, and that is his inability to balance for sh!t. Even just standing there is a challenge sometimes. So if that's a major issue for you, you dont want to get him. Me, I'll be satisfied standing him next to my ROTF OP like in that movie poster

Re: Which Sentinel Prime to buy?
Just saw a couple of images of SP from DOTM, the voyager appears to be a closer match to the the CGI after all. Cannon fully extended & locked is 5", figures is about 6-3/4"; definitely need to swap out with another mechtech weapon.
Just found the Autobot symbol from the side of the firetruck. It's about half "ripped/scratched" off; similar to ROTF Jetfire Decepticon symbols. Hinged panel on the inside of legs above ankle, covers lower wheel. Sweet!

Thinking about getting the Commander Class version.
The Voyager has a huge gap between it's body and cape, and I have no room for a Leader Class.

Re: Which Sentinel Prime to buy?
I bought the leader class figure and he's awesome. A little tough to figure out how to transform to vehicle mode (thanks Peaugh) but once I did it was all good. I still have trouble tabbing all the panels together in vehicle mode but I make it work well enough. As far as standing him up - I really haven't had too much of a problem but he is very top and back heavy so I just make sure to have the feet in a certain position.
The only drawback is that his voice is not that of Leonard Nimoy's most likely because the figure was released prior to the movie. I'd love to see them release a version with Leonard Nimoy's voice and such sayings as "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" "The pillars...where are the pillars?" Or something like that...
I'm actually interested in getting the Voyager figure just to see if he's as complex to transform as the Leader Class.

As it has already been stated many times, get the Leader class Sentinal. IMO the Voyager mold should have never been made in the first place.
The Cammander version is all right to mess around with (He seems to always be sitting at my desk to pass the bordem), but the Leader is the one to get.

Sometimes, just checking one more store isn't worth it
