Just read MTMTE volume 4 trade paperback.. and the discussion Prowl and Chromedome were talking about the phasesixers...
So just wondering. who would win?

Probably Overlord would just take Sixshot as he is crazier. Sixshot has more of a sense of self and wanting to stay alive, where as Overlord is just nuts.

In the Japanese version, both had a sense of honor(though in Overlord's care, it may have been due to Giga and Mega's personalities). so I'd doubt either would use underhanded tactics (Six-shot developed a sense of honor more or less at the end of the series and later informed the Cybertrons of the coming of Devil Z).

Ability wise, Sixshot has the advantage of being a Ninja(like a Ryu Hayabusa in spead, stealth and confusion (those decoys of his like those of Naruto's) but the demon missiles of Overlord is strong enough to melt through God Ginrai's armor....so I'd say a tie.

judging from their idw incarnations, it would be a tough battle.

sixshot's a hexicon with armor made from a collapsed star. i'm assuming overlord's armor is similar due to him being made into a phase sixer using the same process that made sixshot. i think i'd give the advantage to overlord though; he has the ability to generate foolproof combat strategies in seconds. making it extremely difficult for an opponent to get the drop on him.

I'm gonna say Sixshot, but that's only because I haven't seen enough of Overlord personally and I think Sixshot's a badass.

Sixshot. Overlord's smarter, and probably deadlier in close quarters; but Sixshot wouldn't be stupid enough to get close. Overwhelming firepower over crazy pankration any day.

Also, Sixshot's armor (barely) withstood a stomp by Metroplex. Overlord got knocked out by cannon fire in his most recent outing.

this is where overlord's battlemind ability would come into play. he'd force sixshot into a position where using long range weaponry would be detrimental to them both, thus forcing him to have to use close quarters tactics, where overlord is more at home. besides, they were made using the same process. i'd like to think they're more blast resilient than most people would like to think.

and what you failed to mention about overlord's little cannon blast, was that it came from a freaking giant starship and he was compressed in an airtight ejectoprison. i think a blast of that caliber is on par with a stomp from metroplex.

In the comics and cartoons, this would depend on the views of the writer.

According to the tech specs, Japanese Overlord would probably win but European Overlord is weaker. Sixshot should fight the European version.

In star fighter mode, Sixshot is said to fly at 80,000 mph. This is MUCH faster than Overlord. With guerilla tactics, Sixshot should be able to wear down Overlord by hitting and running. However, he should fight in a place with no atmosphere because extreme speed inside an atmosphere leads to extreme heat. Sixshot should either lure Overlord into space somewhere or bombard him from orbit. If he runs out of ammunition, he can accelerate asteroids to 80,000 mph and send them to obliterate Overlord. Whatever the case, my money's on a fully powered Sixshot.
